Hi Dean ,talking of stacked trailers here’s one of my mate Phil mills in rams gate,courtesy of Ron or Chris,I noticed how many straps greenwood got on his compared to phils who got 2 straps only

“nilocekyd” Dean the Seddon truck I believe to be one of Drake Bros from Cadnam, in the New Forest they were coal merchants first and foremost but did general haulage in between, used to go by there yard every day on my way to Bartley High School (it was on a hill and sounds better) from where I graduated and went into truck driving, cheers Buzzer.

Thanks Colin for that info Smart Freight was run by Ernie Smart but he was mainly into containers, he lived in Lowford, Bursledon and had several subbies ie Mo Baker, Ray Wyre and another chap forget his name who had several trucks on for him, he had a small office near the rose gardens at the bottom edge of town, cheers Buzzer
