Recently went for a driving assessment at PCL Hatfield who deliver Arla’s goods around the area. As some of you are aware I have just passed my class 2 and CPC tests and I am looking for work.
Everyone was very nice in the depot and the vehicles all looked new and well presented. They want me to come back in next Tuesday for an induction so I can only assume that they want to go further with me and that I practically have a job lined up.
1. So does anyone have any experience with PCL? I have read some old posts about the state of the company and such, but I’d like a more up-to-date view if possible.
2. How many drops per day? I will be driving either an 18 or 26 tonner.
3. Distance between drops?
4. Length of shifts (ish)?
I have the pay rates and they look fantastic and I definitely cannot complain about them, however I am on a salary but overtime paid over 10.5 hours.
