Reduced daily rest question

Once you go over 13 hours from start to end of the shift, or have less than 11 hours daily rest, it’s a reduced daily rest period.

For instance, if the total shift is 14 hours from start to end and you then have 11 hours rest it’s still a reduced daily rest period, the daily rest period has to be completed within 24 hours from the start of the shift and any rest that falls outside of the 24 hour period does not count towards the daily rest period, hence a shift over 13 hours means you’re having a reduced daily rest period regardless of how much rest you have.
