wondered if anyone remembers my dad fred from southampton henry smithers in the 70s norman offers in the 80s and loads more hauliers
sorry james, I don’t remember him personally but I had a few of his T shirts back inthe 70’s 
I seem to remember a Fred Perry working for Goodways in Felixstowe,and I’m pretty certain he came from the Southampton area and maybe moved back there later on.
I also seem to remember seeing him a couple of times at TNT in Northampton when I was on the SKF job.
Had a very thick beard with all sorts of things living and growing in it.
