As one of those Executive Chauffers, I hate to tell ya!.. Check your highway code & you’ll find that PSV’s are already restricted to inside & middle lanes & have been now for a number or years.

Coaches and buses are statistically 10 times safer than cars. HGVs are involved in more accidents than coaches per vehicle but less than cars. According to Commerical motor HGVs are less likely to be involved in accidents but are more likely to be involved in fatal ones.
Personally I don’t think much of bus drivers since I started coaching. I could never go back to doing bus work. I suppose its similar to the difference between 7.5 tonners and full size HGVs
