It’s a DAF. I wouldn’t trust anything electronic that it tells you!agree with that,my 66 plate keeps coming up with ABS/EBS TRAILER NOT CONNECTED,then it goes off,nothing else on the dash,the fitters have told me i’m connecting it wrong,they have put a brand new abs lead in and said you shouldn’t get it come up anymore,15 min down the road it comes on again after they have ‘‘fixed’’ it,i just give up now
We have that with ours, especially with some of the older trailers.
Was told there can be a compatibility issue with older trailers that can’t be worked around. Trouble is you get about three different warning up because it says the AEBS has a malfunction, the ACC has a fault plus something else. All because of one non issue.
Although the last time I had the Abs not connected warning, it had blown one of the 3 or 4 (can’t remember) ABS fuses in the fuse box.
