Straight away if you were to be involved in a serious accident I would think !! 
that would explain why when we are involved in an accident or any kind they download the head the same day without fail
All speed data is recorded in the head (VU) They store 24 hours of actual “wheels turning” time, so a single driver with own unit may get 2-3 days before the oldest data is overwritten.
Dependant on model, additional speed trace data can be downloaded.
