Recently acquired a telly, unlike most this one appears to be 16.5 volts, tried it with my 1500w inverter. Works fine but the power supply ‘hums’ a bit when in use. I put this down to the inverter being a modified sine wave and not a true sine wave.
Does any one know of a method of reducing 24 volts to 16.5 . Can find plenty of 24/12 droppers but struggling to find a suitable psu

Yes I could but as I said in the op the inverter is a modified sine wave so the psu makes a noise. I was just trying to find an alternative by using the 24v system
MacBooks are 16.5v. Search for 16.5v on Amazon and you might find what you need.
