I’m sure there used to be a “bouncing bomb” near the bridge on Snake Pass at Ladybower during the 1990’s, when last up there on holiday about 6 years ago, couldn’t find it, has it been moved? always look for Lincoln Cathedral when on the A17 near Leadenham and the view of Norwich between the A140 & A146 junctions of the A47, I know I’m 35mins from home.
The old severn bridge, better looking than the new one a bit bumpy, but a proper feat of engineering.
For me its as to be winter hill TV tower (near Bolton ) when i see it it means that i am Nealy home
Simplon pass, italy to swiss, haven’t been over it in 17yrs but remember it used to be stunning, and a big PAH ! that i never took my camera…

The view of the clifton (clifun spension bridge) suspension bridge when driving along the Portway (twot wells) into bristol takes some beating. also the view from the bridge but you can only go over it in a car or on foot.
Theres also the view of Portishead (port zed) from the M5, bristols answer to monaco, as Weston-super-mare is the juan-le-pans of the west country!
This one always makes me giggle on the 62, the farmer must have some serious triple glazing, or was he an ex fridge driver…
The farm has it’s own open (to view by non-facebook users) facebook page: en-gb.facebook.com/pages/The-hou … 9892538025
Also on this page: bbc.co.uk/bradford/content/a … ture.shtml
the tenent farmer says this : “Some days I wish I could switch it off, but I haven’t found the off-button yet!”
When I go past I always wonder how far he has to travel to actually get on to the motorway, legally that is!

Not as good as some of the ones on here but i went to dawlish the otherday then on to torquay- through teignmouth and over the bridge. The scenery around there, especially where the teign river meets the coast, its a nice view especially when youve been on the road for 3hours!
The gate…when I’ve locked it up and left work
This one always makes me smile
Where’s that trux?

My x lives there he looks out over Ben Nevis
as you come down the A4 from madrid southbound as you enter andalucia at the start of the parque natural despenaperros there’s a big green welcome to andalucia sign with hercules and his 2 lions on it and every time i pass it i wave as i’m on my way home, sad i know but it’s a little habit.
when i lived in wales and worked for JR every time i came down the M50 and into monmouth i waved at the welcome to wales sign so its a continuing habit i guess
Or driving down from Oban or in the Lake District

Funny that, most people from the right side of the border pray when they get to that sign.
the " welcome to the port of felixstowe " bridge. it always reminds me of when i was a cab teenager with my dad in his lorry going to felix every fri night.
another is alconbury truckstop only for the reason that my dad used to stop there when on for sanmar and he used to meet up with all the other sanmars drivers and it was a good laugh.
