Safeway Warrington longest I ever had to wait. Arrived 06:30, had 3 square meals in the rather excellent canteen, then had to get company to bring in an agency driver, being I was the only 1 with class1 licence. Shame I only had daycab so had to be content with kipping across the seats, hard work,
Once spent 4 days waiting to collect naranjas ex Valencia, top dollar nosh at the Belgian guys bar in Puig, plus nice suntan for free
Any of the Rank Hovis Mills, EOM Bedford, Bowmans Hitchin, Whitworths Wellingborough & Dogsthorpe, Smiths Worksop, Nestrup Stockport, any of the Cargill sites - theyâre all bar stewards

The rate this is going, weâll perhaps cut a long story short with a list the RDCâs where we had an outstandingly good experience.
Sainsburys, Tamworth are getting better, thereâs a board up with arrival time, start unloading time/finish, start checking/finish checking, still have to wait for paperwork though. At least someone is monitoring performance.
Back in the days when we had car and truck manufacturing plants, they were the pits, Bedford trucks could be a 2-3 day tip
Austin at Longbridge would often take 6 hrs to do a trailer swap ! 2mins to switch trailers, the 6 hrs was to process the delivery notes.
Glad I donât go anywhere near RDCâs these days.
both of my worst ones ive had has been a certain catalogue company that begins with A and ends in S
spent 3 hours on a bay in darlington before some chap came out and said can u move to over to the next bay as weve had you on the bay with the broken dock leveller and then spent another 6 hours while they tipped the container

Waitrose, Snelshall, M/Keynes wonât let you in 15 minutes before booking time & if youâve got 2 booking times say 09.00 & 15.00 they make you leave site then come back/not before 14.45.
Not too bad for us as we are local, but a pain in the arse for people coming from a distance.
Our mob, being part of a pallet network, was having the problems of 3 or 4 different deliveries booked in at various times of the day too. So they took the initiative of phoning the problem RDCs and explained why it wasnât practical to send 4 trucks per day with 2 or 3 pallets at a time to their DC.
Morrisons Bellshill and Amazon Dunfermline have understood our problems.
Morrisons have agreed to accept all deliveries regardless of book in time, as long as we arrive on site at 7am, they have promised to get the truck back out of the gate in under 1hr. They have kept to their promise so far.
Amazon pretty much the same but. All deliveries will be taken off at the one go as long as we turn up at 12noon.
We do Asda Grangemouth too but they never caused a problem in this respect. Theyâve always taken all deliveries off in the one go irrespective of book in times.
