newton aycliffe,4 a.m,

My working week is mainly spread over the weekend especially as it pays more.
but also it works out as a rolling week + rests …with day off between sun, mon, tues, weds

This past week is/was sun + mon (45hrs rest) tues - sunday (tommorrow) working.
With next monday off (24hr) then Tues - sat.

Tommorrow … 05:30 collect a drivers mate, drive 1hr deliver load of totes at Hull, sit & wait 6hrs (eat, sleep, & watch telly while getting paid) before reloading MT totes before rtn journey

Hahaha i dont care who works when you muppett, I JUST WISH I DIDNT HAVE TO WORK WEEKENDS, if that means we ban all trucks from the roads just so i can stay at home on a weekend and just work in the week then so be it, ALL jobs these days in retail require you to work over the weekend…just ■■■■■ imo and i hate it … if you like working weekends then fair play to you…its not like anything i say or think will make things change

Doesnt offend me in the slightest …why would it lol ■■?

by rockape2620 I had never heard of this before but Trucks are banned from French roads between 10pm on a Saturday untill 10pm Sunday ? is this evry weekend or just holidays ?
I must say if the above is true then ■■■■ the French have the right idea, its really ■■■■■■■ me off that all shifts these days include weekend work, your so hard pushed to find a monday -friday shift, not only are our wages crap compared to years gone by but we are forced to work weekends.
Its not like we have families is it and we all know there will be public outcry if Mrs Gibson cant get her bread/cat food/out of season fruit at 11pm on a saturday night.
plenty of “we’s” in there mr rockape more than “I”
the french do not have the right idea especially when we’re trying to get home :imp: :imp:

Just figured you was a caravanner or such like rockape after reading about your wanting all heavies parked up over the weekend, no offence intended I loath working at weekend but not as much as getting up at silly o’clock on a Monday morning.
