I would have to say for the amount of wagons they operate, im very surpised to see how smart Stobarts wagons are, I think there new design is very eye catching and they are all high spec Globbys or Topliners
Speaking of Stobarts, I saw a new Actros in their new livery on the M62 this lunchtime. Looked very tidy.
A couple of my favourites are Shirleys, and those rainbow-painted Toplines from Holland.
For me it would either be Ralph Coleman International, Garry George(Grendon) or Wrights Transport of Twycross, maybe cause there all local to me! I like traditional liveries with coach lining and traditional style lettering
(LadyTrucker i think you may have seen all these liveries!!)
There are alot of pretty trucks out there, with their multi-colour paint jobs… BUT… In keeping with my philosophy on cars, I prefer the clean subtle look, so my favourite is…
I’ve seen ex-Corby trucks for sale, without the sign writing, and they just aren’t the same… The swirly Corby signing just finishes it off… Sweet…
If I ever get my own unit, it’d be an Ex one, with ‘Chrisie Chilled Dirstribution on the side’ to get the same effect… LOL…
SimonRS2K:
Whats that foreign firm called that does a lot of bulk tanker tuff with the metallic blue and silver units■■?
simon
Atchinson Topica have some lovely lookin trucks (second on my list)… Also Spiers and Hartwell have IMO nice lookin two-tone blue units, but then i’m abit bias’ed to two-tone blue…
yeah i 'm agree with irish livery truck is awesome!!! but one thing is simple the best - Willi Betz Livery!!!, if you are in Portugal or Moscow or Istanbul or London, you will still seeing famous yellow and blue livery!!!
also white socks feet up on dashboard are part of Willi Betz livery
best livery on back trailer - “Betz” just simple, easy to remember
if you are driving the motorway and you will see obvious yellow and blue lorry!!! best eye-catching!!!

Not only LadyTrucker, all those ones are local to me. Will agree they all look smart.
My favourites are:
W M Oliver (not the ones of Bardon Mill and H.M.P.!)
Corby Chilled Distribution
Pollock ScotTrans. I was alongside a brand new Scania Topline yesterday. With the tartan stripes on the cab (all hand painted!) and gold leaf fleet number they look very smart.
I’ve always thought that Transport Ste. Germaine out of Quebec had the nicest livery in North America. They run all of Canada and all the lower 48 states as well. You can see the chartreuse green on their trucks from miles away:
The photo from the Lymm collection of the Castrol Mk 1 Atki 8 legger & drag brought back some forgotten memories. That particular type of coachbuilt front hiding the radiator and with the ‘V’ and chrome curly, was best known on the Munro’s of Aberdeen fleet. Their’s were in yellow and always eye catching to me.
Nice pics everyone - my favourites? - The above Atki, the 2 Fodens and the Mack from Quebec.
After driving past there yard time and time again, and my old man driving for them for most of his life, there fleet actually inspired me in some ways to want to be a truck driver.

Whilst not so traditional, my current firm’s is pretty eyecatching, especially with one of our own 45ft boxes on so it all matches. People in cars still manage to “not see” us, though…
Again, not the best truck to show it on (the Volvos look smarter IMHO) but as good as it gets for now…
As for bright trailers, Walkers have their Quavers jobbies sprayed in brilliant yellow, so it glows like a new high viz vest when the sun’s still on it. Someone claimed not to see me with one of those on one day . I enquired as to weather it was blinding her as it was glowing at the time .
As for liveries, I like anything low key, with nice clean lines. I think Reed Bordalls trucks look A++++ .

Without doubt the most boring and dull scheme out there. White units and white reefer trailers (obviously) with black lettering… WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWW that took them all of 5 minutes to knock up.
I think PTM fleet looks pretty smart. I know the company very well and this is a picture of one of the new Volvo FH.
They look good when kept clean and polished
P.S first time posting a pic so dont know if i have done it right.
Tried to get it to work for you, but the address is wrong!! sorry - Rikki
