…It was just some friendly advice, why would it be a threat ?..You haven’t said anything to me to nark me have you, and it would be water off a duck’s wotsit if you had.
Just that one or two on here confuse this with real life, I’ve had threats (or promises ) off a couple of stars on here in the past , ranging from going to punch my lights out to reporting me to the Old Bill

Its hard to tell the difference on these bloody forums of someone having a joke and ripping into you and getting tick and trying to start something so thats why Im sure anyone and everyone takes the response i took get tick real quick and dig the heels. [emoji23]

Trust me they haven’t got the balls. 9 years of being a fairly well known face in the industry that has had more than my fair share of online abuse and you know how many have had the balls to abuse me in person? None, not a single one, even in my years at Virginia when I knew for a fact I was on boats with people that had abused me online. It’s all show
Like I said mate, it’s a forum it aint real life.
I say nothing on here that I would not say to somebody in a pub,.and that’s my benchmark…should say I’ve had a few fights in a few pubs in my day, so maybe I should change the criteria.

I can take a give a slagging able for a bit of banter and abuse [emoji4] but i dont appricate the “age thing” thats one thing that gets under me skin, i get it in work as it is so i get tick real quick when it comes to that, we are all trained the same way, alot of guys have years of driving experienc but I want to be on the same page as them when it comes to treatment and respect your a driver im a driver [emoji4]. Of your earlier post whereby anyone who didn’t wash the lorry wasn’t a truck driver.
I’ve known drivers who didn’t wash the lorry who were absolutely brilliant at driving them, as well as drivers who do wash the lorry that are complete numpties at driving.

I’ve known drivers who didn’t wash the lorry who were absolutely brilliant at driving them, as well as drivers who do wash the lorry that are complete numpties at driving.
Well it takes all sorts, I just think its your work space, why have it a kip as its a reflection of the driver and the company. It takes at best an hour to clean it top to bottomand if you dont smoke in it and keep to small stuff like coffee cups and sweet wrappings at bay your doing just fine.

Tbh I don’t think there’s any correlation between a clean truck and a ‘‘real driver’’.
When I started with this lot about 10 yr ago I was driving a complete heap of ■■■■ Renault, my main priority was fumigating it before I nighted out in the ■■■■ thing, to get the interior livable.
I hated the ■■■■ thing and never washed it from one week to the next…so I aint a ‘‘real driver’’ either it seems. 
All good now still not keen on the Merc, but it’s kept clean inside and out, so I’d like to re.apply to be a real driver.

Looks great when they are clean and yeah thats a good point if you got a Audi or Bmw that was 100k would you clean it of leave it dirty. Even bring it down to someone who cleans it would be a compromise but theres no middle ground in this arguement [emoji23].
Its either you clean the truck or dont clean the truck and the opposing side of the arguement shout you down for taking pride in what you drive.
