Wheel Nut:
You lot are confusing motorcycles with Hardly Driveables
I have to agree with wheelnut Hardley Davidsons are over rated dyke pumps and yes I’ve had a a 72 sportster and was so so glad there was someone to take it of my hands , that was 15 years ago and I would’nt make garage space for another

Each to their own; I’ve run H-D’s for 20 years now and that includes two 45’s and six Ironhead Sportsters. They’re a very acquired taste and whilst I certainly wouldn’t run an Ironhead as my only bike these days I’ll always keep one in the stable for blowing cobwebs off.
i’ve had me mad days on Jap bikes; previous includes a few Hondas, Kwack 750 triple, brief flirtation with a Z900 and a Yam XS750 which I really liked had it not been so damned unreliable I’d have kept it. Also had a BMW R65, probably the best all-rounder I’ve ever owned; unfortunately I find a lot of modern stuff (including a good few Harleys) is rather bland and predictable.

And which model Harley did you own which gave you such a low opinion of 'em?
I never owned a Harley, I just know a bald head, wierd beard and studs would not suit me
The bald bit’s natural regression, I accept that my beard does look like an explosion in a mattress factory… my missus has never complained about the stud!

Does she lovingly call you Albert?
Not that kind of stud mate; makes me eyes water just thinking about it!
Never been into piercings or tattoos; why mess with perfection?

Little Enis, love your Zed it looks like you’ve taken good care of it. I have a D2 model and i think it probably the best bike ever, although crap brakes, exhaust coming off at the mo, for repair once i’ve sussed out how to put a photo on here i will post one. i have biked for 39 years and i think it does make you a better driver in a lot of ways especially observation skills.
However the music is pure magic 2 stroke although the picture is a little grainy
Hey Wheel Nut what a great CD that would make all of the best sounding bikes on one disc one of my favourites would have to be Jim Redmans Honda 6 and of course Revin Kevin on the GP screemer, music music music
As I said in a previous post you really should go to the VMCC’s “Festival of 1,000 Bikes” at Mallory 10th-12th July if you want to see and hear the classic racers… this year will include the new Norton NRV588 as well as a host of others from all over the world.
I was there year before last (our club has a stand there every year) and we were right by the hairpin, perfect for the music!

You can try hear but do not attempt sound files on dial up.
Just click on the red links for great sounds, needs real player and takes several seconds to load each bike.
