Been riding for 13 years now and not had many bikes, started on a 600 bandit then a GSXR600 which got written off after going head to head with a van. After a 6mth forced break I got my first VTR1000…
and cos I fancied something different it got joined by this…
CCM was a proper hooligan tool, I was even running in the fast groups on trackdays 
it had a whole 48bhp after it was tuned but still good for 95ish 
Had to make a decision as the firestorm was getting hard to ride due to knackered wrists and dodgy knee but the CCM was no good for long distances…CCM won and the VTR went. Soon realised I’d made a mistake so traded the CCM for another VTR and fitted higher renthal bars to cure the wrist problems. This bike is just perfect now, suspensions been sorted, engines all been fettled and I wouldn’t change it for anything else
