Totally shocking :(

Sound reasoning. Don’t remember saying, or reading for that matter, that the moon doesn’t exsist.

Please put a link up to further enlighten us.

As for Glasgow, I can confirm its there.

Anyway, I pretty sure Foxy was after thoughts on the HS2 not hollow moon insights.

Edit. Slip of the finger.

Harry Monk:
We need massive improvements in both road and rail infrastructures and this includes HS2. Currently the only places in the UK where you can see proper trains are alongside the M2 and M20 in Kent.

I don’t think the government’s policy is one of improvement it’s more like one of pointless development being used as a flawed employment replacement for our lost manufacturing industries.Do we really need 180 mph trains and do we really need to duplicate existing rail capacity when we’ve already covered the place in a road based tranport infrastructure in addition to existing rail infrastructure. If we take your idea to it’s logical conclusion it’s quite possible that you could turn at least the South East into an untenable place to sustain a decent quality of life because too much of it will be covered in rail lines, airports, roads and housing estates. As they say you never know what you’ve got until it’s gone.

what about the times you paid to see this loony speaking?
like i asked before, was he much more expensive at wembley than he was at ipswich with only thirty people there?
he is laughing all the way to the bank thanks to folk that pay to see him…

Armagedon:
Andrew Neil [brillo pad] asked Philip Hammond when he was Transport Secretary was it worth spending £40billion to shave a few minutes off a journey from London to Birmingham,
never liked Hammond and it was great to see him squirm and unable to answer a simple question.Up to our necks in debt and they plan to blow £40 billlion which will eventually cost
over £100 billion to save a minute or two on a train journey, senseless.

Its only senseless if you’re not getting a slice of the pie even though you’ll be paying for its’ construction. Like us in fact…and then they’ll buy Jap trains and import more cheap labour to “keep the cost down”… :unamused:

■■■■ me you’ve really got a bee up your arse about this haven’t you?

FYI, Ips was iirc, someone else’s ticket that’d dropped out. Wembley was a Xmas present, my brother and me both received.

Out of interest, do you write for the Sun? If it hurts your sense of reality to see new information, maybe, move on to the next thread. Why let your blood pressure increase because a man you’ve never met publishes Information, compiled over 20 years, from all over the planet, much of which has been shown to be acurate?
Can you explain, maybe on a new thread, why hes never been sued or prosecuted?
No smoke without fire perhaps?

Then on the flip side you, obviously having read in depth much of this blokes work :unamused: , come onto an Internet forum with an anonymous user name and state he’s a loony.

Mmm. Forgive me for not pmsl.

Couple of points regarding HS2; They have just spent an absolute fortune on the West coast line , ( ive spent enough time moving equipment to and from it ) widening upgrading ect so now its in better shape than its ever been in years , however there are still problems the main one being at Nuneaton where after all the work that has been done North and South through goods trains are sidelined , passenger trains having priority over goods ( was always so ) this is due to be sorted shortly , but even now passenger trains have a fully upgraded line from London to the North via all the major cities. The route chosen for HS2 leaves London and heads North totaly bypassing Heathrow ( there was talk of a spur line but its been shelved ) so if you arrive from overseas you have to catch shuttle into London and then get HS2 to head North so saving x number of minutes London / Birmingham is Bol… if it takes you half hour to get Heathrow/ London. Goods traffic wont be using the new line so no good for that either, add to that the fact that it cuts through the heart of middle England were the majority of Tory voters live and the case for it is looking slim. As for creating jobs for lowloader firms like myself ,once you,ve put a 360/ dumper ect on a job like that its likely to be there for the long term so although a short term boost not anything longterm. Lads on muckshifting i cant see them benifiting either most of that will be moved on site by dumpers to build embankments and the like,so all in all i cant see a lot going for it, I stand to be corrected however!

The rail freight handling capacity already exists it’s all about freeing up track capacity not handling capacity. The countryside between London and Birmingham is already subject to numerous types of development encroachment over the years. It doesn’t make much sense to build at least two large seperate motorway routes in addition to the existing rail capacity and then put even more rail capacity in to defeat the object of the two road routes. There’s a difference between modernising existing infrastructure and covering the place in too much.

But contrary to your view the government’s stated aim for HS2 is to free up existing track capacity for freight while switching passenger traffic to the new high speed lines.Which means either you’re wrong or the government’s business plan for building it is.The banks and big business don’t usually throw money around unless they believe the business plan as given for investing. :bulb:

I might not be the sharpest knife in the drawer but what are the 2 seperate motorway routes between London and Birmingham, or Manchester, Leeds & Scotland? I can’t recall any plans for NEW roads.

hahahaha-he is a prick.he also thinks the queen is a [zb] lizard!! how has he not been locked up yet?

Because he hasn’t been proved wrong■■?

What so the queen is a lizard is she and the moon doesn’t exist??

It was once common knowledge that the world was flat. I believe folk like yourself wanted the proponents of the contrary view locked up then, too.

Who knows. I’ve never been to the moon. Have you?

I take nothing for granted anymore.

You please yourself mate.

Can’t understand why you’d get wound up about it. You’ve got your firmly held belief in the solidity of the moon and the purely human DNA of HRH. Live and let live FFS.

Have you quoted the right person?? I never said I wanted him locked up? And I’m certainly not wound up

So what are you actually saying though, until you’ve got DNA from the queen and walked on the moon you will have an open mind that she is or isn’t a lizard and the moon is or isn’t real?

You maybe right on the first point.

A bit slow on the 2nd.

What do you want?
Definitive proof from me on this subject? I’m not seeking to change your mind. Don’t think I’d have the time.
Read it, or don’t. Couldn’t give a ■■■■.

To ridicule something, it would seem you’ve picked up in the mainstream media, instead of from the horses mouth and regurgitate it verbatim, thus taking it completely out of context, seems a bit childlike.

Believe it or not this wouldn’t be the first time I’ve had this conversation.

Do I think the queens a lizard?

Do you think they are entitled to sit in authority over us all due to the divine right to rule?
(You know, the little thing where you’re considered royalty because you’re a descendant of god/the nephilim).
They do. And we go along with the whole fantasy. Who’s really the nutter?

Is the moon hollow?

I’ve read and watched a lot of compelling information on the subject.
You it seems, read it on page 7.

It’s all about preconceptions. You create your own reality.

Your queens a human, who rules over you coz gods a great great grandfather. Do you really believe that?

I’m not taking anything out of context I’m just simply stating it in Lehman’s terms.

Whether or not I think there should be a monarchy or not is irrelevant, and no I don’t believe they are descendants of god.

I don’t know what your talking about reading what on page 7 of what??

I bet you dont half have some theories on JFK, the moon landing, 9/11 attacks, etc

Im not a descendant of a reptile and no one controls my life but me, the queen isn’t a lizard and the moon is real, trust me.

:open_mouth:

Blimey so if you’re running from London to Birmingham,Manchester or Glasgow or vice versa and there’s a major problem on the M40 meaning it’s going to be shut for hours you won’t be using the M1 and the M6 instead.Or the M40 and M42 ( possibly even the A5 or A1 ) if you’re running to Leeds and it’s the M1 that’s shut. How many roads do we have to have before we say it’s enough and before the whole country is covered in concrete. :unamused:

Believe it or not we’ve got a small single carriageway A road near here that’s regularly used by loads of traffic to by pass the recently widened 8 lane section of the M25 because after providing 3 overtaking lanes in either direction the idiots often then put a 50 mph limit on it which not surprisingly brings it all to a grinding halt.Which then leads to calls to by pass the road being used as a by pass to by pass the motorway.Which will no doubt then lead to calls to provide another by pass to by pass that by pass that’s being used to by pass the motorway.

Although seriously it’s not so funny for what remains of our local countryside because in addition to the demands for all that is the possibility of a high speed rail link between Heathrow and Gatwick.Which would no doubt make Harry Monk happy. :open_mouth: :frowning:

Before I reply, maybe, as you’ve such a range of positions to defend you should start a new thread. This is all slightly off topic.

I have theories on JFK, 911, faked moon landings?

Theories. Fact. Truth. Myth. Fable. Legend.

Where do i go to get my definitive answers?

BBC, ITV, Murdochs empire? Al Jazera?

Perhaps you feel I’ve read about these things on a 45 min break in the daily sport/Sun/Star/Guardian/Independent (delete as appropriate), then latched onto it and taken what I’ve been presented as fact, because most other people in the country/world glean their view of the world in the same way.

Maybe I’m one of those annoying people that don’t accept the official version of such fundamentally import events as fed to us by establishment lackeys.
Events that have plunged this world into a non reversible nose dive into the war without end, and the long predicted goal, a global ditatorship/world government.

Again, HS2 threads probably not the place.

Maybe a new thread would be welcome, in order for you to snap me out of my deluded sleep like state, using such compelling evidence as “trust me the moons real”.

Thank you for such a considered reply.

Page 7 would be a private term indicating a news paper article. Obviously you weren’t privy to this and so it was pointless to use it. Apologies.

Seriously though, do you think the information gleaned from 20 odd years of reading, on average 1 book a week, on most subjects is going to be outgunned by a couple of blokes on TNUK, just because it’s popular to do so and you’ve told me to trust you.

Yes it is probably all off topic.

I have no doubt that the world and its events are not always as what it seems but I’m also saying sometimes there isn’t always a clever conspiracy behind an astonishing event, sometimes people do just fly planes into buildings, assassinate presidents etc for no justifying reason.

But do you honestly believe that we are created from the “brotherhood” of reptiles and extra terrestrials as David Icke believes?? And that the world is being controlled as a unit?

As I say before, yes I fully believe in conspiracy theories and I think there is a lot more to what we are fed in the media but I also believe that not everything has a back story, not everything is as deep as what people want to believe.

still think that HS2 is going to kill this countryside that i got around me here but it will give all the new influx of eastern europeans (that we’re going to get cos someone called “the prime minister” thinks that it’s a good idea for them to come here) somewhere to go…

i also think that transport will become extremely short runs and no long haul / no nights out — soo in the end we’re going to lose out and wages/rates are going to be considerably less than they are now and so amke the job not worth doing…

And the flag wasn’t blowing around as you rightly say there is no weather on the moon, it was however fixed so the flag stays open in its display form with a flexible rod.
Not every waving flag needs a breeze, at least not in space. When astronauts were planting the flagpole they rotated it back and forth to better penetrate the lunar soil (anyone who’s set a blunt tent-post will know how this works). So of course the flag waved! Unfurling a piece of rolled-up cloth with stored angular momentum will naturally result in waves and ripples – no breeze required.

HS2 debate on BBC parliament now and this goverment has just admitted that large swathes of countryside are going to be lost as a result. the land lost isn’t just the bit with the tracks on it - it’s the bit for 1/4 mile surrounding it cos of access needed for all the construction kit site houses and other sundry items.

FB - The way i read the thread and the posts between you and goaty in particular you seemed as though you were losing it with him that’s all — still found your exchanges entertaining to read.

CF — i know that we sometimes trek on the same wavelength with regards to this but i just find it sickening sometimes.
