We had 6ft deep bulk bodies and Lime would blow out with a net over,we used sheets so you could keep it in and to keep the body dry when empty to stop it sticking.

Not to mention frozen loads…

You have an experienced bulk artic driver on the firm now Nathan.Lime and such would be a doddle for him :wink: .
Cheers Dave.

As long as he takes his boots off and doesn’t mess with my dreamcatcher/bullfighter arrows/ frilly cab trim etc when I’m off :laughing:

This is my steed for the next week or so…

It’s regular driver, Dave Curry is on holiday and my wagon’s in for mot prep’. I really like these FEs despite only being 7litre 320s they go fairly well and I’ve got 9mpg out of her today. The downside is the 8speed 'box needs a splitter as going above 50mph sends the revs out of the green band.

I’m taking a load of 6mm down Altitudes’ way tomorrow (between Midhurst and Godalming-he could take his lorry home and drop it off on the way :laughing: ). If I didn’t have to pick some flint up from Thatcham I could nip over there for a load of on-ferrous metal :laughing:

Never thought of that Nathan! your not so daft,spot on there,they’ll be getting rid of their metals stock prior to getting “the elbow” off the illeagal site!! I see that a geezer down in Hove has parked his van across the Town hall doors in protest to a ■■■■■ invasion of a nice Park.if the photos in the Mail are anything to go by they’ve made a right mess!!! Hows the little Fella coming on?can he reach the pedals yet? Cheers Dennis.

You do have to be careful; I’d have it taken off as the rest of the chassis inc’ airtanks is quite high. Brakes are fantastic too.

Hope your keeping that Volvo clean ?

Workshop brought the sister vehicle over to Cassington today as the sister truck needs to be left at Gill Mill (although I’m driving it tomorrow morning), and took back the first to wash it as it’s yard based driver is back Monday; I’ve got to get a lift to Bletch’ on Monday to “drive spare”…that’ll be difficult as Altitude’s got it-and likes it :laughing:
Mine booked in for test Tuesday 10am; had a few pennies spent on her according to fitter John earlier…

This would be Johns’ baby;

I’m on lime Monday, so perhaps I’m on an 8wheeler for a change? Lime spreading season seems to be dragging on a bit this year…
