They have a ivec and a mega merc and use to have a wee 85 as a tractor unit .

Almost, Steve; Main ballast stockpile just slipped and sent about 20t down onto the haul road. I just cleared it and another 10 fell down. Just stopped for lunch and there’s talk of “pump rescue” this afternoon as river is upto 4 on the marker board.

This old girl was still on the firm when I started in the quarry; She carried half a ton more than the new MANs and was only plated at 30.4t. It went when the V reg Foden 4000s arrived and was operated by Hacketts of Standlake for a while and was last seen working in the Coventry area.
I Remember driving that old girl best job i ever had.

Well, since my formal request to return to lorry driving, I got the push for making this thread! Decision not made by anyone in transport dept either I must add. Better not say too much except in a strange way I’m glad to be away from there. Bloody place has made me a right grumpy bumhole in recent months.

Thats victmisation Nathan,you’ve never said anything defamatory or libelous about your former employer as I can re-call mate !So the only reason I can think of is you were just a useless ■■■■ !!! Joking aside,I hope you find something that suits ASAP,it’s not so nice to be “out on the stones” just before Christmas ! What have you supposed to have done wrong with this thread for your former employer to take umbrage about Nathan.
Its been running for over two years.I would get some legal advice off your local CAB,or if you are in a union,get them on the case.
