We only have you word that you even hold a truck licence and we know how sloppy you are with truth and facts. Your alleged employment, in a previous eon, is more than possibly a figment of your overactive imagination.
Yep I was the only 7.5 tonne feeder driver ever to have not worked at UPS.All the documents I’ve posted on here alluding to my employment there are forgeries.
As I said you protest way too much. Can’t handle 25 metres on our roads. You’re the one who said it not me.
I’m sure that’s at least 25 metres. It’s clear who’s got the issues with facts.Next you’ll be telling us that you got into Australia as a truck driver on your immigration points score.Yeah right.

A train No no never again….
I’m not surprised with that silly trailer. The thing is shorter than the drawbar.
Seriously the NZ type 4 + 4/5 wagon and drag is as good as it gets here as generations of fairground operators have shown.

Yep absolutely no thought or planning or skill required to reverse an A frame drawbar outfit through a slalom course or reversing the trailer under a demount box from a 90 degree turn.
Blimey, you reversed round a bend? I bow down to your greatness
And here it ended, they said just stack those few sacks on pallets and we will have you away by tea break.

Fixed that for you Switchman.
Not unless you’re saying that I’ve stolen a UPS Feeder Driver’s identity. In which case they obviously would have said something about that by now.

Ah yes that feeder driver Mr Carry Fast. You don’t even give us your identity chap so pretending to be someone else is hardly beyond realms of possibility. Id be inclined to think he’s real as if he isn’t he really lacks imagination when it comes to inventing a life!

If and that’s a big if, he’s real, that explains why he never rose above the first rung.

Are you really suggesting that someone who’s never driven a truck is happy to turn up and reverse a 25m A frame drawbar oufit through a slalom course and know that I won’t make myself look silly. Also say all this stuff about UPS knowing that I never worked there doing the job that I’ve said I did and all the connected documents are forgeries including my old green paper licence.
As opposed to you and your Australian ally reversing that artic A double for a few yards just in a straight line.

I’d call being put on an A frame drawbar ‘uk’ line haul job was a bit more than the ‘first rung’.Bearing in mind they obviously subbed out the international work and then preferred to put drawbar outfit drivers to work as warehouse labourers needlessly transhipping freight at a hub instead.Thereby totally defeating the object of demounts and artics oh and obviously adding to the driver shortage by breaking the backs of ‘drivers’.
At least I wasn’t sacked for crashing anything you know working for a firm that didn’t reward anyone for ditching its trucks.

You don’t even have the balls to use your real name on here chap, the idea that you’d ‘turn up’ anywhere is comical at best. Just another faceless internet big mouth

Well, so you tell us. We only know what you tell us since we have no idea who you are and honestly you don’t strike me as someone who’d ever admit to a single mistake. Unlike some of us

Ironically I’ve actually found the latter of those to be a problem in the employment scene. Not because I didn’t work there but because management staff were generally considerably older than me and I’m almost retirement age now.

Linehaul is first rung, just sitting down and looking out of the window. Repetitive, semiskilled work, driving from A to B and back again, ad infinitum. No knowledge of load restraint route planning or weight limits and distribution required.
Do many UK companies “needlessly tranship freight”? Consider the absurdity of that statement.
You wonder why real truck drivers doubt your alleged experience, you’ve never got past the “ten year old boy dreaming” stage.

An easy challenge to accept, knowing the practicalities and the fact that such a configuration does not exist in your land. How many of this type of vehicle have you previously driven?
I have vast experience with multiple trailers and can manoeuvre two trailers, anywhere they can fit. I’m not ■■■■ hot with three, only being able to reverse a limited distance in a straight(ish) line. I look forward to hints and tips from you, in this matter, drawing on your immense knowledge and experience reversing 53.5 metre road trains.
Wow, Luke and I (I can call you Luke, can’t I?) are allies! That sounds a bit up close and personal for a couple of real drivers, who’ve never even met each other.
Who knows, with a bit more effort, we could be promoted to collaborators.
I’m an interloper, really my dear Carryfast, that merely proves your arguments are running out of puff.
Go home Geoffrey, your village is calling you.
Carryfast:
Look on the bright side being out of the job permanently I can afford to look silly if I’m wrong but could you
Well, considering the very well known event from my past that you bring up every other post I really don’t think struggling to reverse on camera would have much impact on my career to be fair. I’ve created an entire online persona centred around being silly

Nope, I think nothing of the sort. I just reserve the right to take ■■■■ out of people who shout loudest with some of strongest opinions but don’t have the balls to put their name to them, that’s all. Esp when they make up endless amounts of crap about people while hiding themselves. I’m very opinionated but also very visible.
As you two have been playing point scoring one-upmanship for basically all 5 pages of this thread and also in about 100 other threads, would it be possible for you to continue this via private message or some other medium where the rest of us who aren’t interested won’t see it?

You do know you don’t have to click on links right? You only see it if you choose to see it. In this social media age forums are dying so any traffic is good frankly. The Irish truck drivers forum is all but dead now
