Agency riot.

It will all go quiet again in January.

I have to tell you that the trouble in Paris has had nothing to do with what started out 3 weeks ago, by ordinary French people, the “Gilets Jaunes”, remonstrating about the rises in diesel, petrol, gas, electricity, heating fuels, etc. with a further increase of 6cents at the pumps in January on diesel. Voicing the discontentment of the whole of France.

What you have probably been watching on media news reports, is the hijacking of what should have been peaceful marches, by extreme hooligans that just want to trash the so-called “establishment”. They have nothing to do with what was started 3 weeks ago, they just want to break everything and hurt, injure and even kill the police officers. These are the ones, like those in London some years ago that just decided to hi-jack a peaceful march, to cause mayhem.

Sadly they have ruined what started out to be a voice of the people to tell Macron and the government that they should think again about the increases.

Edited to add:: Sadly the government here are going to use all of this footage of the riots in Paris as a weapon against those that want peaceful demos.

Funny how often when there is a protest that is unpopular with the goverment that it turns into violence thus discrediting it in the media and also allowing the police to use full force against it.

Gotta say on my travels week in week out in France the manifestations!? in the rural areas are pleasant and friendly and if you toot they love it. As you say Paris riots have nothing to do with the normal French people

They wasn’t there on Wednesday when the redmen was in town. Was up for some pre Chrimbo looting as well.

As Pierrot says,it’s a shame that a legitimate and peaceful protest has been hijacked by extremists and hooligans.Unfortunately their actions and the violence detracts from the aims of the “gilets jaunes” so that people only see the violence and tend to side with the authorities thus playing into the hands of Macron and the “establishment” enabling them to continue the actions they have been taking.

Absolutely agree with you there. Antifa and the other anarchist groups - are the ones setting the fires. They are easy to spot, as they have no hi-viz, doubtful legal status, and of course look rather muslimy to boot.

What we must remember about France in particular - is that they average worker is WAY to the Left compared to the average Brit worker.

They voted for Macron over Le Pen, despite the scare stories told to “put people off voting Le Pen” - being the very same things that are now happening all over France, and bursting through to other EU member states like Holland at this time. :frowning:

You cannot be a socialist, help the country’s enemies get your job - and expect to keep your job at the end of it. :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: :unamused:

“The Devil Makes Work for Idle Hands.”

If anything like this were to happen, say on December 9th (Antifa expected to attempt a hijacking of the Brexit march in London)…

Then British Workers, including a lot of us drivers will be earning top dollar, avoiding London altogether, and generally having something more productive to do than fraudulently claim benefits, and go on these marches, which is anything other than “available for work”.

You can’t tell me that the average rioters - have jobs to go to. At least not the ones showing their faces…

This isn’t only about fuel price hikes but macron’s islamification of France the fuel protest was it’s catalyst, they want little cucked napoleon gone, He he bad for the people of France and their culture, the same thing has started happening in Belgium too, i doubt that it will be very long before it’s happening here as well
This could be the tipping point refugeesmigrants.un.org/migration-compact this could spell the end of British culture,

T’is also funny how not many of the peaceful protesters don’t wear masks but those hell bent on causing trouble do. Coincidence?

We’d better stop wearing hi=viz in case we get accused of being rioters.
