Oh well back to the madness of the M25 tomorrow morning
Soon be Christmas the way the weekends go by

Good video that. Obviously before h &s
As not a hi Viz in sight .

Had a Racefit on my Fireblade RR8 years ago, took it to Germany. No way I’d have one on now, stupidly loud.

Birthdays. Mrs GOM and myself were informed yesterday that 3 weeks ago we had forgotten :face_with_spiral_eyes: our youngest grandaughters 15th birthday. Cost me £10.

A TENNER ?

What a tight wad…..a coffee each for her and her mate.

 :joy:

I got / still am in the bad books for forgetting our anniversary :pensive_face:gom , Christ knows how much it’s costing me to weasel myself back into the wife’s good books , every bloody conversation she ends up reminding me of it

Some say ‘tight as a knats chuff’, but we are only poor (very) OAP’s

And how much is b loody coffee these days? :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

AS for forgetting anniversary’s, it’s my annual party trick (you’d think by now I would have got the hang of it, we’ve had 65 of them ) When I do ‘forget’ her language is appalling, …and I’m not a fat b astard, an ounce or two overweight maybe, but there’s no need for the names she calls me.

I have 2 (well trained) daughters for that, they keep me posted about upcoming birthdays and anniversaries,… sometimes they even go out and get me cards and presents for these occasions, and are a particular godsend for Christmas shopping…(I’ve got that job sussed for a while now.…..)

I’d be lost without them, my memory is terrible for dates.

4 to 5 quid depending on your outlet preference, I think Maccy Ds and Gregg’s are the cheapest about 3 and a half quid.

I even know of some people who have scams going to get free coffees. :joy:

Surely you meant (very) poor OAPs?

I only did that once, even though I hadn’t actually forgotten, I had the dates mixed up, there were no acceptable explanations.

It’s the missus who forgets our anniversary, I’ve always bought her a bunch of flowers for 53 years. :slightly_smiling_face:

May be going up to Amesbury area at the weekend to see this lovely girl 2ish year-old JR cross called Ariel
If Trixie likes her , with she will she loves every one

What a sweetheart, I hope all goes well. I used to have a wire-haired JR cross, she came everywhere with me in the lorry back then.

Aaah, you’re not hard enough for this marriage business,
65 years ago in a moment of alcohol fuelled madness, I splashed the cash on mine, I paid 7/6d for a marriage licence , that’s kept her going , I can honestly say that I’ve never bought flowers for her’
She was lucky to get me, I was in great demand.

Yeah I have a ‘routine’if anybody asks us how we met, the wife hated it at first, but she’s now used to it and just rolls those blue eyes.:grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:…..

‘‘So how did you 2 meet then?’’

‘‘She was my stalker I confronted her while she was going through my bins’’

:smiling_face_with_sunglasses: :joy:

Surely that’s well expired, unless you renewed it.

WHAT ? I paid good money for that licence, I’m a Yorkshireman and I want my moneys worth.
when her father heard we were getting married he bought me a pint and said "good luck with her…you’ll need it

My mil ( rip ) told me at my wedding to her daughter it was the worst day of her life seeing her daughter marrying me , her worst nightmare :flushed_face:( she wasn’t originally going to attend the wedding ) , it wasn’t a suprise as I was baned from her house , she hated me , even after we were married she had nothing to do with me , wife would go and see her with my girl

She said I was a horrid person , trouble etc ( she did have a point in those days ) , it’s a shame really as she told the wife it was her dream to see her daughter settled & happy , whereas she’d ended up just worried sick every day about her daughter / granddaughter , she’d didn’t see the marriage lasting 2 mins

But 30 years later we’re still together , though wife says more so through pity , I’d end up on my own & wouldn’t cope :joy::joy:, in them days I didn’t care , now I find it sad , I know how I feel about my girl , so can fully understand where the mil was comming from , but you can’t turn the clocks back even though I’d now like to have her see a happy daughter / family all those years ago .

But I have learnt from here , I’ve not disowned daughters boyfriends , I’ve got rid of them as I saw myself as n them , one now can be a pain but he knows his place , got a earful the other week though it was my girl who strayed the argument, chip off the old block

Day off today , so tv on full blast whilst doing tates and veg :joy::joy:
