The Weekend work

Here is the second part of my first week at work

On fridayust had two local jobs to do withthe first one being
a load of hot chemicals for France,all i had to do was
pre -load and drop it off at one of the change-over points
SO picking the truck and roadbarrel up at 0700hrs
i drove down the road from DORTMUND to the factory
at Moers,as normal I had 5 lorrys infront of me so the
early morning start which was meant to help did n,t work out
I left the factory after loading at 1230hrs ,went back to the yard
after dropping the roadbarrel off,and picked up my next trip
another chemical job this time it was resins ,drove up the
A43 and then took the A52 into MARL where i had to book in and do paperwork plus the strict ADR-HAZ checks,when this was finished
i went to the loading point and had 20tns of resins for HELSINKI
FINNLAND put inthe container,again just preloading for some one to
pick it up and goby boat on saterday to HELSINKI, this is a great boat trip by the way,SAUNA;SAT-TV- GOOD FOOD: ANDyou buy your beer in the docks to take with youas oits cheaper,the trip usewd to take 36hrs when i did it 3years ago but now it seems they do it in 27hrs, oh yes by the way it is the top of the class ice breaker ship as well,

Right after getting loaded and doing all the paperwork i left the plant and drove back to the yard,droped both truck and trailer off,and went home,

Saturday went into the yard ,and picked up my paperwork for the weeekends work,had to move some vehicles and tankers and then did the normal daily checks,the roadbarrel was one of the very new ones and is very light
truck and tanker tare out at 12,660kg so27tn plus is no problems
and there is room in the tank for more,
I had some instruction on the tanker and left the yard around 1020
got to Offenbach 3hrs15mins which means i only have 6hrs 45 mins
left when i have got loaded ,on arrival at the plant in OFFENBACH
i WAS LUCKY due to the fact my mate was working that weekend the
paperwork and ADR-HAZ check went quickley and then i weighed in
and went over to load with all things considered i was in and out of the factory within2hrs20mins,SO off i set for schwarzheide ,this is roughly 650kms
away,so there was no way i waould make it to unload on saturday, the Duty TM
had allready phoned to offenbach and schwarzheide that two trucks may be late ,I took the A3 all the way down towards Nurenburg,at exit 59 I JOINED THE b505 for Bayreuth,and then went on towards BAMBERG;HÖF;
ZWICKAU;CHEMNITZ; and stopped at the rastte auerwald on the A4
here i took a 9 hr break and in the morning went down the road to the plant
gor there at 1030,and was told ““MORGEN FRUH”” tomorrow morning
early,i told the TM he said okay when you are emptey mondaygive us a call,

mONDAY DID THE PAPERWORK AT THE GATE AS IT WAS FIVE IN THE MORNING
drovedown to the unloading point and put the TANKER ON STEAM
to get the tempreture up a bit (WE USE 18BAR OF STEAM) I GOT OUT OF THE plant at 0730 and drove off down the road,phoned the firm and said emptey homeward bound okay,they said what time will you be back
i saiid about 1900hr,okay you thanks a lot and off i went, as planned on the yard at 1900hrs dropped truck and tanker and went home,

Jesus man, you must have milking the system of your host country for a jolly long time - stealing my money and now stealing my job. Nice bunch of people you brits are. Jolly good.
