The eu referendum- how do you intend to vote?

When you have to rely on Blair to get you out of the sh you know you’re scraping the bottom of the barrel.

And they wheeled out major again today :unamused:

Three generations of the sods then, the boy Slippery Dave, his dad Peace Envoy Blair, and grandad John Major the very first nuLabour PM.

We must have annoyed some being wielding extraordinary supernatural powers to have been visited by that motley crew, in charge, for over 20 years.

It’s like I said earlier, we can change the government, but it makes no difference, they are all the puppets of Brussels. We can’t change them after tomorrow. Now is the time for real change

See the vote has been regularly around the 79-8-% to Leave, then now when I’ve looked, it’s dropped to 73% - people getting cold feet?

It’s called the “Jo Cox effect”. It’s slightly strange that a mentally ill unemployed gardener can determine the destiny of a continent, but that is what is happening.

Tommy Mair knows that he is destined to be as famous as Lee Harvey Oswold, and that’s what he wanted, so in a strange way he has been entirely successful.

That is what I wanted to say but you’ve put it better than I ever could.

It’s going to be bloody close tomorrow - closer than I thought, and a ■■■■ sight closer than Call Me Dave thought, and yet I don’t think it’s going to solve anything, in that such a close result either way leaves the victor with a seriously large rump of disgruntled voters. A 51/49 result leaves more questions than answers, especially considering that the result is not binding on Parliament. The thought of winning the referendum by such a margin and the government and the EU concocting re-negotiations in order to suggest a second referendum in which we would be persuaded to vote the right way is a nightmare scenario not worth contemplating.

Tomorrows the big day and after listening to all these driver moan rant out EU immigration and reading there thoughts on the poll options of this thread; I have my doubts

The Gazapo called them “UKIP closet room racist” associated to the BMP.
To be honest the majority of lorry driver are the biggest Bunch of pathetic wimps I have ever met.
But that saying us drivers don’t stick together springs to mind.
Always willing to complain in secret and always happy to make little stories up behind your back; always happy to cower when they are having the ■■■■ kicked out of them for walking over the yellow line and always happy to buy in to these pathetic little bully boy VOSA scaremongering stories and be frightened of the people who work for VOSA!
Because that is what the EU referendums “stay together campaign” has all been about really; scaremongering little stories of recessions (even depresions)
So how will these little gob ■■■■■ wimps vote tomorrow then; me I think you will play the governments game of closet room wimps, forward stroke winkers and stay at home and not vote: personally!
Then come Friday owe my they will all be up and out mouthing it off about something that ant going to happen any more
That is my frear anyway

Any road I voted by post last week and if Britain remains in the EU then I will leave the EU (immigration next year)
And yes I voted for OUT! And so should you all if you have any BALLS!
Because I can just see on Fridays these closets room wimps coming out
And BTW this is you know who

BTW I did this a while ago, during the hight of the depresion and though I would repost them if I did not in the first place

He’s been conspicuous by his absence.

So by Friday morning we shall either be “the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland” or “The offshore islands region of the united federal states of europe”.

To be fair it’s been that since Heath took us into it.But no it’s only a ‘United’ States of Europe if there’s ‘Unanimity’ in wanting to be there.IE democracy is supposed to only be about how ‘the nation’ is ruled and who rules it.It’s not there to provide the illusion of ‘Unity’ in the case of forming a Federation of ex Nation States and calling the result ‘United’ when it clearly isn’t.So Federal yes but ‘United’ never because for that the vote would need to be 100 % in favour subject to continuous review. :bulb:

In which case the obvious answer is Confederation in which the seperate nations retain their full sovereign right of opt out, substitution, and VETO and Secession. But for ‘some’ reason and predictably people like Spinelli,Monnet,Heath,Blair,Corbyn,Cameron and Juncker obviously wanted/want something a lot more dictatorial and less consentual in its constitution than that simple arrangement.Thereby probably consigning Europe to the fate of the former Yugoslavia for one example.

Ze German say foolish, I say wait and see Eastern European countries exercise their veto rights to get favorable deals for their businesses or citizens living in UK(If the new Gov decide to kick us out).
Did you saw what Cameron achieved in his EE trips last several months? Now think what will happen when Cameron or BoJo start negotiating with EU for trade agreement
How many businesses will leave UK for EU, if EU impose tariffs and barriers? So why not Slovakia(example) impose vito on any new agreement if knows that can take chuck of UK car market, just hypothetically talking.

The EU was a direct change/metamorphosis from EEC/EC to EU.On that note it’s no surprise that Switzerland wasn’t even part of the Maastricht treaty and later Lisbon treaty just like we wouldn’t have been if we’d have stayed with EFTA instead of joining the EEC.Which is when we actually got involved with the inevitable move to ever closer ‘union’ contained in the treaty of Rome just as Federalist Europhile zb Heath and all those who’ve succeeded him intended. To the point where we are now with Cameron selling us out to dictatorial scumbags like Juncker. :unamused:

Can’t wait to get home tonight and go and cast my vote to leave. Much has been said by both camps, but I’m sorry, I vote with my eyes, not my ears. The so called economists on the remain side are either government bodies, funded by big business or the eu, directly or indirectly. They’re not impartial. It’s all projections and forecast anyway.

What I have seen, when you dig a little deeper, is the government and eu position is accelerated accession for Turkey, Fact. There’s another 4 eastern block countries coming in who will take out more than they will put in, Fact. The financial transaction tax is coming, maybe announced as early as next week, Fact. Ttip is coming, so best get some critical illness cover as you won’t get free cancer treatment akin to the us model, a very worrying Fact. We’ve been told there will be no more renegotiations, this is as good as it gets, Fact. 5.5 million jobs in the eu rely on the uk trade, they will not be able to dry shaft us outside the union, Fact.

We need change, we will never get the chance again, Fact. Get out and vote, and vote to leave

I’m looking forward to how the Scots and London end up voting… Every vote counts, so any turnout over 1% for Brexit in both these places - is extra votes for the overall Brexit total.

Meanwhile, Brexit’s winning margin in the areas where “Euroscepticism is strongest” - needs to be by a BIG margin to put the Leave camp far enough ahead so they cannot be caught throughout tonight…

We could know as early as 1am how this is going to go… :bulb:
