The eu referendum- how do you intend to vote?

Muckaway:
I couldn’t care less if car makers go abroad, we haven’t had our own large scale manufacturer since Rover went (thankfully).
I haven’t bought a British built car in years anyway.

A lot of hauliers work is doing loads for car makers like Nissan and Toyota. It would be a great loss to the country if we lost whats left of our car making industry.

We’ve lost too much manufacturing over the last 40 years to lose any more, we cannot run country just providing ‘services’ to each other and each transaction administered managed and taxed in order to keep those more equal than us in their cushy well paid well pensioned jobs.

Working men and women are not our enemy, those who have sold the country are, and included in the sale were all working people like us who never gave our consent to be their property.

I don’t read the rag (haven’t bought a propaganda sheet in 30 years) but apparently the Mail on Sunday has put out an editorial urging we vote to remain, another Trojan horse of backstabbing traitors.

As one of Camerons’ constituents, I think he’s preparing for losing the PM job; Suddenly all this money’s being found to improve the A40, grants given out to the almost weekly 'fests that crop up everywhere. Before he became PM we had massive investment in the Cotswold railway line then nothing until recently.
I voted before for him but not last year, that went to UKIP.

I do agree with your first two paragraphs. Cutting each others hair, cleaning swimming pools, and selling each other insurance and cups of frothy coffee is NOT a basis for a growing economy.
That is why I think we should remain in and trade freely in a readily accessible nearby market. Strange how you and I see the same problems and come to different conclusions?
When I see the M on S agreeing I do have my doubts tho! Both sides of the debate have their share of good solid arguments and also nutters. (Juddian, you ain`t a nutter in my book, but on this subject I do disagree with you)

Absolutely agree with this, Im just gonna add working men and women who happen to be immigrants as well.

And there it is :exclamation: The sentence that sums up the entire thread in a nutshell …and is the most accurate statement on here. :bulb:
Everything said on here, everything said by both sides in the entire campaign is pure speculation, based on personal and party OPINION,… with a bit personal agenda thrown in, whatever that may or may not be.
The more scaremongering that goes on, in an effort to frighten voters into deciding, suggests to me that the true personal agenda there is hidden… :bulb:

True. But weve gotta make choice on the info to hand. Im disappointed at how bad tempered this whole debate has become. (Shocked but not surprised). The maneuvering by politicians (of all views) has been a disgrace. More lies and half truths have been spun so much that any web weaving spider would be jealous.

There’s absolutely no doubt that the choice is in this case is between Nation State v Federation. In which we’re being asked whether we want to be a state of Juncker’s USE or take our country back. That’s all the info we need.:unamused:

As for bad tempered not exactly. That would be most of the historic examples of the same argument whether it be the USA v CSA or Brits against Irish in 1916 or JNA v Slovenia and Croatia in 1991.Let me guess in all those cases you think that the Federation was the the solution not the cause. :unamused:

is there a way to change my vote in the poll, I have finally made my mind up so I can come off the ‘undecided’ ?

To be fair the Mail seems to make it all up as it goes along.Thatcher the woman who supposedly saved our basket case economy.Brought to its knees after just 6 years of EEC membership let alone the decades that followed. The same EEC/EU that she supported us being in but which the Mail says she didn’t. :unamused:

Boris is PRO migration he just told ITN news,Time the tories were kicked out, nothing will change for the better then because we will still have uncontrolled migration, and swarms of illegals being allowed to remain
And yes thatcher the milk snatcher did untold damage to this country including workers rights, and her legacies are still affecting us now , most of us are glad the witch is dead shame it didn’t happen a lot sooner before she did all the damage

Just watched the News. Now that Chancellor prick, and one of his mates are playing the inevitable ‘■■■■ card’ over the latest poster by the leave camp, that depicts a line of… errr ‘refugees’ queing to get in.
It looks like they are against the vast majority of public opinion, surprise surprise…who would have thought it eh? :unamused:

oh yes they will try with their PC bull ■■■■ to suppress common sense and what a lot of people of this country want, which is an end to the free for all for all invaders to this country , better still a ASAP turnaround on illegals found in lorries deport them back to France or to whatever other country they came in from unless they want to go home and can provide genuine ID documentation , last resort allow them to remain here,( in secure accommodation, none of this allowing them free reign of the uk ) lock em up instead,

And agreed on that toffy nosed jumped up prick Osborne, he talks about deep cuts , i would like to make a deep cut to his ■■■■■■■ throat the oxygen thief

The same bleeding heart government that hits anyone with massive penalties if any of those same poor unfortunate ‘refugees’ are found in the back of a truck having rescued them from danger in France.

watching the riot police in lille on the news i want a supply of those fire extinguisher sized pepper /cs spray cannisters , that would get the illegal Taliban out of your trailer, and if you also had a crackler (tazer) if any got lippy on their way out they could be given a reminder don’t sneak on board English lorries , because we don’t care about you or want you in our country ,has to better than the fines the scum hand out to drivers & companies who have taken reasonable steps to prevent the taliban entering the uk on their vehicles

Thought I’d share this with you as it’s a totally unbiased view of life after Brexit, and nothing to do with the BBC and may be of use to the undecided or anyone fearful of Brexit’s implications.

Neil Woodford who is one of the most successful investment fund managers currently managing £8.6billion, commissioned the highly respected Capital Economics Group to produce a report on the likely impact of Brexit on the UK.

Very interesting read. One of the very few reports that see pro’s and con’s in either result and doesn’t paint a picture of utopia or desolation following the referendum.

No.Much like the referendum, you will never get another chance. If Britain votes to remain it will be against EU law for us to ever have another referendum.

Oh well, one of the 13 undecided in the poll above has now decided after much consideration (and being told by the wife) I’m going for an EXIT.

I’m also out, looks like out is in front at the moment!

WWIII would be us trying to leave after giving away our rights for the last time this thursday.

‘Remain’ is too horrible to contemplate. Really. It would be like us surrendering to Hitler the moment the French surrendered after the Wehrmacht’s successful Blitzkrieg campaign instead of manning-up, evacuating via Dunkirk, and waging the Battle of Britain despite being “left to it” by the rest of the world.

Quite Frankly, I’m amazed that there are 66 people who buy into the Remain camp’s “fear of uncertainty” bull.

The truth that both sides agree upon is NO ONE knows what the real effects EITHER WAY would be. There’s a lot of downside with very little upside for Remain, but somehow a vote for Remain is seen as a “Vote for the Status Quo”. That is the only thing that is 100% NOT going to happen here!

Britain passes away as a Sovereign State this week
Or…
Britain declares independence this week.

It really IS a “Binary Situation” with “Status Quo” NOT being on the ballot paper.

I think the vote for remain is generally actually something far more sinister than the bs pretence of ‘uncertainty’.IE a very real deliberate vote ‘for’ Federal rule over the Nation State for ideological reasons.Notice that just about every remainer is unwilling to commit themselves to a simple answer to the question of where they stand regards EU Federation v Nation State and/or why.Or where they stand regards which side in the case of the example of Slovenia or Croatia v JNA.Bearing in mind that any claim of so called neutral on that example while deliberately voting for Federation over Nation,is total bs.
