Hiya Dennis, you’re right, it is (was) Adeline street, don’t think it’s there now.
It’s amazing, one photo, a moment frozen in time from the best part of 50 years ago, how many memories it brings.

Out of Barrow steelworks. For those who don’t no the guy in the mack
Stood on the kerb is Jack Brady one of the 2 brother’s that were running
The firm at the time ( early 1960’s) for you Dennis the driver would be
Albert Coward

You are a Top man Frank,I wonder how many shots of Brady motors were taken at that same location.HEO 333 Beaver, new into service on 18/8/61 and scrapped 23/11/69.It’s loaded with billets I see, where would they be going Frank? The Beaver looks like it is fairly new but if the shot was taken in August the weather looks a bit cool ! Whose the other geezer in the mac Frank,The Hindpool “Flasher” Great shot though mate, you sure can dig 'em up
Cheers Dennis.PS it would have had the 600 engine, wasn’t HEO 678 the only Beaver with the 680 Power Plus engine ?

Did they have two “mouth organ” Beavers Frank ? FEO 628,24/6/60, and GEO 199,11/1/61, so which one had the 680 P/Plus engine.HEO 977 first reg 6/4/62,scrapped 31/8/72.cheers Dennis.

Any “gen” on this old girl Frank? (well it was when this shot was taken) Cheers Dennis.
That’s on it’s last leg’s Dennis didn’t remember them going down the road that rough
Shunting yes but don’t remember that motor as a shunter PS GEO 199 was a 600 power engine
And ended up as a shut motor long before MOT

The cab roof nameboard bears the earlier " Sons" wording.Sorry , but I forgot to ask for the Scania`s original reg. no.
I hope someone can please supply the missing detail . Thanks.Cheers , cattle wagon man.

The Atky was after my time Frank! but I agree with you that Ronnie was decent lad but did he ever have one of the Scammell units ? Plus he can’t help it if he came from Millom,at least he wasn’t an “Alabamy hay shaker from Spark Bridge” eh! Cheers Dennis
