Now you’ve jogged my memory Frank,I know who that lad is but it’s years since I’ve seen him,i think they called him Alan Poss. (?) He became a keeper/handyman for James Cropper and he was an ace pidgeon flyer in Kendal club.I have talked to him at times and he used to tell me some tales about mating "the Dark faced one " on HEO 557.Cheers Dennis

As Rolf Harris would say : " Can you see what it is yet ■■ ".
Possibly one of the surprise commercial vehicle exhibits at this last weekends ■■■■■■■ Steam Gathering " is this T. Brady & Son Scania tractor unit. There
s a lot of cab interior still to be replaced , but the Scania gained many , many admirers
throughout the weekend.
Photographed and shown on here specially for Dennis.
Cheers , cattle wagon man.
Another view , now on terra firma
.
The Scania must have been from the years when both Brady Boys
were in the family business .
The cab roof nameboard bears the earlier " Sons" wording.
Sorry , but I forgot to ask for the Scania`s original reg. no.
I hope someone can please supply the missing detail . Thanks.
Cheers , cattle wagon man.
