Sunday Worship

Our lager,
Which art in barrels,
Hollowed be thy drink.
I will be drunk,
At home as in the travern.
Give us this day our foamy head,
And forgive us our spillages,
As we forgive those who spill against us.
And lead us not into incarceration,
But deliver us from hangerovers.
For thine is the beer. he bitter and The lager
Forever and ever,
Barmen.

I feel i now have to march to London with placards and banners denouncing anyone who does not believe in Christianity, Signs calling for the death of non believers, preaching to people that Jesus is on his way and they should be scared, Dressing up as a suicide bomber etc etc.

All because someone has insulted my religion by twisting the words of the “holiest of prayers”.

Sorry not sure where it originated, a friend sent it on an e-mail.

I picture Ronnie Barker doing that one dressed as a minister and delivering it in a deadpan voice.
