Yeah,were the plants own transport,we used to drive the moffits but too many drivers moaned the stopped us driving and took £1.10 ph off of us,i didnt mind as i hated going in the sheds in the wet,now it’s down to the catchers to load us,most days it’s 2 loads a day (one distance then a local) or if your lucky you get one distance then back to the plant,tip,washdown and reload for the pm shift

- Meal allowance- £13.00 x 5= £65.00
- N/O allowance- £22.50 x 4= £90.00 (Tax free)
- Mon-Fri (1800-0600) 59 hours x £8.67= £511.55
- London Weighting- £25.00
- Expences- £22.00 for the previous weeks parking fee
All in £738.55
Stoppages £83.60 for Tax
£50.71 for NI
Total deductions £134.31
£738.55 take away £134.31= £604.24. Deduct £22.00=£582.24
so £582.24 for 59 hours
So yet again a genuine breakdown of my payslip!

im intrested in the n.i bit,ive one pay slip of 725.77 infront of me and my n.i is 61.05,another is 764.89 and n.i is 65.72,my tax is more which i understand youve got night out moneys thats tax free,but im a bit baffled why im paying[or seem to be], more n.i,have you a fiddle going on 
,or is it to do again with nights out

Very much so,they normally take lads of the agency after they have been on for us for quite a while,we dont get many walking out

This week was a bit lighter…66.75 worked=63 paid=£854.91 and i was home for 1.30pm

A lot of comments only 3 actual breakdowns of pay! As usual a lot to say but unable to prove their earnings! All waffle and no proof of earnings! As for Nightout money! Yes it’s part of your wage! If you don’t do nights out you don’t get them! Simples

Mine obviously changes every week since I’m on agency, but I get £9 / hr, time and half after 8, docked 45 mins a day for break. time and half sat and double time sunday - not much sat or sunday work though.

Okay it’s only temporary and times are hard - but talk about taking advantage of the recession. Starting rate - £7.20 an hour! Scandalous!
If you think thats bad, David Fox Transport Ltd, of Middlesborough, on Jobcentre Plus (14th June 2011 ) offering £6.70, P/H up to 40 hrs., for class 1 drivers.
all this whinging and moaning about drivers wages pee’s me off. if you dont like the wages go elsewhere.

well then stick the name of the company your earning that for on here so it may give someone who lives local the opertunity to maybe get a job there,just a thought
