So monday morning what we gonna listen to?

dar1976:
I’ll miss it. Simples !!

+1

Wachted the final show live and it was brilliant, the final song was superb.

Personally I’ll still listen to Dev till 6:30 (I turn over when Alex Lester finishes on R2 at 5am), then onto my CD Player.

Christian O’Connell breakfast on Absolute.

worksopboy:
for me they should have put Scott Mills and his team on the breakky show but i cant stand grimmy so looks like il be re-tuning to capital FM yorkshire for Hirstys Daily Dose at brekky!

+1

Will listen to scott mills, then give grimmy a chance but if its ■■■■ will probably give radio 2 a shot and abit of 6 music.

think my plan is dev and a bit of wally webb from 4 till 6-30… then god knows prob chase and status or pendulum  then prob keys and gray on talk sport, then jez vine(if subjects decent) between 2 and 4 flick between scott and any local crap i pick up, then just discovered daz gough on talk sport and thats not bad…
moyles will end up on lates id think prob with dave and dom… its true what moyles says… the fans of his spend half out time defending him from the haters… they are 2 at my place… yet both never listen to him!! so how can they moan? :unamused:

Pure Highway…Mag Aerial…6 Music.

Its the ONLY way to go.

HTH.

Kerraang or Planet Rock or my iTunes . All via my iPhone , innit

Moyles was pushed he had contract well in to next year
in the meantime i spose he will have to learn to act
as hes Judas or Herod or something like that in
Jesus Christmas Superstar (arena tour version)
ideal character choice a ■■■■■■■■ playing a ■■■■■■■■

For someone you don’t like you know an awful lot about him

I’ve listened to him since he started at radio 1 and read his books. Quality.
He was great and will be missed by me won’t tune into radio 1 anymore as its all crap now he’s gone.
I’ve started downloading howard stern shows off the Internet so that will be my choice in the mornings now.

As for dab radios does anyone get a crappy reception sometimes and it goes silent for a bit??

Not seen you on the boards for ages you still on for smarts??

Radio 1 started going downhill when they got rid of Mark & Lard in their afternoon slot. Moyles has kept that station single handedly aflot after that and I see it going downhill rapidly now he has gone. The rest of the line up is crap.

Spot on there fella couldn’t agree more.

The BBC trust would rather have five 22 year olds listening than 8 million 0-90 year olds :unamused:

MolePower:
love him or hate him , you cant deny he pulled the listeners in for radio 1 when they desperately needed them , R1 was a fast sinking ship & he’s as good as kept it afloat for the past 8 years simply because , R1 has a desperately poor lineup. i’ve not listened to moyles regularly for a few years now , but that was because of the rubbish music not him,i cant see R1 getting any better from here on in , i’m still R2 & R4 so i’ll be fine

I couldnt agree with you more dude, the dj line up is appalling, i have listened to Moyles since his early morning show 15 years ago, god knows what Radio1 were thinking, mental :frowning:

Lets hope they start 108.9 The Pigeon

mornings aint gonna be the same now with moyles gone and comic relief aint gonna get the same amount of money raised either from radio1 as it was moyles fans that gave the most. i got dab so i’ll be channel hopping for a few weeks.

That’s the thing that annoys me the most it’s got nothing to do with listening figures or anything else it’s down to what some old ■■■■■,who don’t actually listen to R1, think is best for the station and screw the loyal licence paying listener. For me the perfect station would be radio 1 and a half somewhere between R1 and R2 as it goes I’ll give Grimmy a chance but i’m really gonna miss Moyles.
