So monday morning what we gonna listen to?

cliffton 27:
thats pretty much bang on i loved his show the way they had that 30 min ramble before they played a song was like nearly every workplace in the land with people having a chat with a brew before they crack on for the day
anyone else noticed that nearer the end of the week they keep mentioning how the beeb are getting rid of them not that they are leaving

I noticed that. I reckon he jumped shipped before he was pushed. Now radio 1 has to cater for 14-29 year olds what a load of ■■■■. Most young folk who dont work or dont drive dont listen to the radio this is the ipod generation. I didnt start listening to the radio properly till i was about 22 when i started driving lorries funny enough.

Moyles kept me going. When i came into work with my face tripping i always knew at half 6 i would get a smile on my face. Those boring ■■■■■■■ trips to aberdeen the team would keep me company.

The last show with tina crying and aled speech almost sent me going aswell cos i know work is gona be that little bit harder without my pals in the morning.

There was a hint in the last jingle song they would come back, maybe on capital who knows but i would follow them probably need a dab for capital but :grimacing:

You do get a laugh from grimmy but i think he’ll be under strict orders to cater for the brain deads. Im going to give him a chance though.

MolePower:
love him or hate him , you cant deny he pulled the listeners in for radio 1 when they desperately needed them ,

Then Evans trashed him with higher R2 figures.

Ken.

Thank ■■■■ the gobby ■■■■ head has gone, about 7 years too late.

Ill do what I always do and listen to 5 live
I like to know what’s going on around me and even though it gets annoying, its great for the traffic!

This debate about Moyles is easy to solve.Simply deliver all the bacon sarnies to Feltz. She’ll polish 'em off, no worries.

Were you forced to listen at gunpoint then?

They shouldn’t try and fix something that’s not broken, I loved that show and he had a massive following of all ages that’s why it was great. They have made a massive ■■■■ up with that. I can’t stand grimmy I think he’s annoying. If anyone should have got it, it should have been Greg James.

For me now it will be Christian O’connell and Richie on Absoloute but as soon as you get away from London you loose it.

absoluteradio.co.uk/onair/breakfast/ my choice been listening on and off get it on dab all day anywhere

No but I was forced to pay towards this odious, over rated, over paid, pretentious pricks wages. Even my kids who are Radio 1 listener target age group thought he was crap, to old & spoke to much.

To be fair your license fee also pays the wages of several other bbc employees that most people dont like. Im sure it isnt only Moyles that you dont like.
It seems as though a lot of people did like Moyles, whether they are target age or not. I wonder how him leaving will effect the listener figures.
The bbc posted online that Moyles is to take the 22:00-00:00 time slot. But then removed it shortly after. So it would appear that he will return in the new year.

what
i thought Blackburn was the brekky jock

I’ve never listened to moyles for years, working nights does that for you. I used to find him funny but as soon as they get on the soapbox, at the time he reckoned we should all love his faggoty mate aled, I switch off. Funny if he went to capital though, didn’t he always take the P out of that other duffer johnny Vaughan for working there. Trouble with them all is they get so far up there own backsides it s embarrassing. Jo Wiley! Good grief, you would think some of these songwriters had found a cure for cancer the way she goes on. Get yourself some culture. Classic FM. You know it makes sense.

johnny vaughan and robbie savage on r5 after the football is one of my fav radio shows

Depends where I am ! … If it’s NYC or anywhere other than Boston it’s BBC radio 2, if it’s the Boston area it’s WROR 105.7 which has a brilliant breakfast show with two guys called Loren and Wally. I wish every station had DJ’s like these two.

Anybody listen to JACK FM? it has a funny voiceover guy, saying they play what they want, so don’t waste your time asking for requests, music is varied rock and pop.
breakfast dj is Bam Bam who was on kiss

One driver i was talking to was saying (hearsay alert) grimmy, greg james and russ kane are all pally with controller of r1 so writing on wall for moyles

I’ll miss it. Simples !!

Don’t listen to the radio anymore since going into the quarry. It’s all crap radio in Oxfordshire; R1 with Fatguts andhisis hangers on who laugh at him because it’s in their job description. R2 and Popmaster makes me want to rip the radio out (sick of the losers wasting airtime with “hello” messages).
Radio Oxford is solid gold crap full of lefties and bored pensioners, Heart FM is only for ginger beers and kids, Jack FM is mind numbing (they might play a song once during the working day but you can guess what song will follow it) and Glide FM is for students and women off to the gym.

for me they should have put Scott Mills and his team on the breakky show but i cant stand grimmy so looks like il be re-tuning to capital FM yorkshire for Hirstys Daily Dose at brekky!
