Not surprisingly when they vote in tossers like Brown who then think they have the right to run the English government and economy for the benefit of the Scottish. :unamused:

Well up here we never had an election to make Brown pm, so I assume either it was an English vote or you’re making things up

Brownie was handed to him on a plate by Tony Blair another ■■■■■■ in my book, Regards Larry.

Brown’s electoral mandate as an MP was a Scottish one not an English one which is the relevant bit.IE English policies being decided by Scottish MP’s with no English electoral control over them.Just as in the case of us being subject to EU policies decided by majority vote involving foreign MP’s who we have no control over.

No you were just conveniently over looking how Brown, amongst other Scottish MP’s,came to have a seat in the English parliament.Making policies which apply differently in England than in Scotland and in which the English get a worse deal per head of population than the Scottish.

English parliament as opposed to the Scottish parliament. :unamused:

Point of order m’lud. There was no English side at Culloden Andy, nor even a Scottish one come to that. It was merely a British king trying to stop a Scotsman(from France) becoming a British king.

But you are right, there were Scots and English on both sides at Culloden…and Irish, and French, and Germans and…

What a night!

Sanity prevailed.

55 per cent to 45 per cent is not a narrow majority no matter how busted flush SNP try to spin it!

What a shame, very disappointed, federation should be the only way now, 4 nations with equal rights within one nation.

Not for me though, I will never return, wasn’t going to anyway and no longer have a vote there but that didn’t stop me having my view. A view I have held for many years.

Federation is actually what we had and what we’ve still got in the form of the union IE 1 nation made up of 4 ‘former’ ‘seperate’ ‘nations’.That’s a federation.

4 ‘nations’ means independence or they aren’t ‘nations’.What you’re calling for is a ‘Confederation’ of 4 ‘different’ self governing nations which is ( would have been ) a totally different thing and which ( would have ) needed the breakup of the union first which obviously will never happen now.

So now the federalists will get their wish of a busted SNP and finished UKIP with a strengthened Cameron led Con division of the federalist LabLibdemCon alliance. All because the electorate are too thick to understand the difference between Federalism,as opposed to Nationalism and Confederation made up of self governing sovereign states. :unamused:

So carryfast you think we are all to Thick to understand. I personally voted NO because its what I thought suited my life and family all this s–t about your federalism/nationalism never even crossed my mind off course I am just an ordinary retired lorry driver enjoying life in a nice part of SCOTLAND. On two forums and three different threads you have posted umpteen times on this subject all of it complete and utter drivel various others have belittled you frequently but you are so up your own backside you don’t even appear to notice that you are now recognised as a laughing stock. And you call us Thick. You are a SAD PERSON. Eddie.

Steady Eddie Steady dinna upset yersel or you’ll boil yer watter ! Look, even"the Leatherhead Legend" hasn’t got a clue which side of the campaign he supported even now, because based on the drivel he has expounded on three sites neither does anyone else, but no rear Eddie I will guide him away to a new thread where I’ve no doubt he will start flapping his gums about something else he kens ■■■■ all about  Cheers Dennis.

Here here Eddy, he’s a pompous, pontificating, prick, in my opinion. He was probably responsible for quiet a few of the waverers voting yes as they would think we are all like him south of the border. Whatever the vote had been politics in the UK are going to change now. I suppose it’s something to thank Salmond for. Regards Kev.

I think not knowing which side they support or flapping about something they obviously know zb all about would at least fit anyone who says they understand why UKIP is right about seceding from the EU but also think they understand why Gordon Brown is right about tying England and Scotland together and making us pay for the privilege and having yet more tossers like Brown telling us what to do. :unamused:

I’m guessing that the idea of getting the English to pay even more so that the Scottish get even more spent on them per head out of the ‘UK’ budget probably helped more than a bit in that regard.

If you mean that we’ll probably get a LabLibdem coalition helped by Cameron and yet more Scottish MP’s like Brown at the next election you’d be right.

Now that the dust is settling IMHO wily old 'ECK isn’t as daft as you think, yes he would have taken a YES vote but that was the cherry on the cake which deep down he must have known he was going to lose, however,he has got what he wanted more-or-less which is independence in all but name, well Cameron and Brown have promised the earth(and they have to deliver)But what 'Eck has also done is throw a ■■■■■■■ great grenade into the UK political elite as the aggro is going to start big time from here on in and through the next general election.'Eck might have looked suitably ■■■■■■ off on the TV this morning but that was just for the cameras and his crest fallen supporters, but behind closed doors he’ll be laughing his ■■■■ off having “stuck it right up” the Westminster elite, boy has he given those ■■■■■ a basinful of trouble for the coming year or two!!He’s absolutely run rings around them and is coming up smelling of roses out the midden! I don’t particular like the geezer but you’ve just got to admire him fair and square like.Cheers Bewick.

Blimey Bewick you’re talking bollox and believe it all yourself. All that the referendum has done is to make Cameron’s let alone Miliband and Clegg’s position much stronger v that of Farage’s which wouldn’t be difficult considereing that Farage himself obviously doesn’t agree with us being in the EU but he obviously doesn’t understand why. While we’re all going to be paying for the privilege when Brown’s cronies start asking us to pay up to keep the Scottish voters happy. :unamused:
