Well what will be the outcome--------one guess only lads ! I say the No’s by a whisker ! Bewick.
With people like Gordon Brown onside and his UKIP supporters the result couldn’t be anything else in an electoral environment that doesn’t even understand the difference between federalism and anti federalism and the connections between federalism and socialism or anti federalism and nationalism.
■■■■■■■ hell “CF” your putting yourself about a bit to-night,I see your flapping your gums on the “other” site as well,it wouldn’t be so bad if we could understand what your blethering on about!!! Oh! and you leave Nige and Ukip out of it,he’s a top Banana as far as I’m concerned,a bit like yourself round Leatherhead eh!Cheers Bewick.

Maybe, just maybe a large proportion actually like being part of something bigger and do consider themselves to be British as well as Scottish. It doesnt have to be bordering on being some conspiracy theory that needs to have federalism written 4 times in one sentance.

Dan if Salmond does get in with what it will cost to change over and extra taxes etc. to pay for it I would say a Scottish owner driver would struggle to pay it. Eddie.
Like other points that have been raised, in theory they should have to pay the £10. However I did read that King Eck is going to use the DVLA in Swansea because he’s not thought of an alternative, obviously he’s not asked anyone, just decided for himself.

Quite correct Eddie, Owner drivers are struggling to start, with, with all the new regulations Etc at present, Regards Larry.
Just read the bit about the Shetlands now if they do that King Eck will be in s–t street as he will lose all their oil money. all I can say is it couldn’t happen to a better man. Eddie.

What has united Scotland is the English, once the English are out of it the divisions will surface:-
Edinburgh looks down on Glasgow
Catholics & Prods of the central belt hate each other as much as they do in NI
Highlanders do not really like lowlanders
Orkney/ Shetlands do not even consider themselves to be Scottish.
When I have travelled there is not a lot of friendship amongst Scots unlike the Aussies or even our ■■■■■■■■ neighbours.

Good point, I wonder if the abollsion of the Tax Disc will apply to Scotland if they do become indipendant ■■?, Regards Larry.
Dan Punchard:
Will the scots be paying the £10 per day lorry road user charge ?
Well Dan the British Government has been talking about charging our European partners a toll since the late 90’s but they aint done nothing yet as it may upset them cant see 'em charging the Jock’s, we on the other hand have to pay a day rate as soon as we land on there shores plus motorway tolls with weight limits on the national roads to stop our using of them and this is supposed to be a level playing field, I don’t friggin think so, Buzzer.

I think you may need to check the news a but more often Buzzer. Been charging European operators £10 a day for a few months now or a £300 penalty if caught without paying.

Not surprisingly when they vote in tossers like Brown who then think they have the right to run the English government and economy for the benefit of the Scottish.

Well “micks” I stand corrected thanks for that, finger off the pulse not anything to do with the day to day any more but my son said we had a foreign subbie stopped the other day and he got £400 fine for not paying the tenner and he missed a timed delivery. In MHO it should be £100 where ever you go in this country even then it would not compare with what we have to pay, Buzzer.

So exactly where’s the difference between us being run by European majority vote with no electoral control over what it orders us to do as opposed to Scotland doing exactly the same in the case of Scottish MP’s deciding English policy.

Well up here we never had an election to make Brown pm, so I assume either it was an English vote or you’re making things up
