Id totally agree with that, you only get respect if you give it out in the first place. Personally, i wouldnt slag off any employer on here BUT, if someone asks me a question about my employment then they will get an honest answer. If this information is not to my employers liking then there is obviously an issue which needs addressing but i think being fired for telling the truth is very harsh.

A bit hungover this morning so not sure I catch your point 
, but if you mean what I think you do, my explanation is that I did not discover the guy was a knobhead until after I took him on, and I did not tolerate him for very long, or have I missed your point completely?

Everyone is entitled to their own personal viewpoint they are also allowed to express that viewpoint too. If one of my members of staff called me names on their own personal website i would be upset, but it think its leaps and bounds away from a sacking offence - as long as they did not bring the company into any disrepute that is
I’m friends on fb with both the manager and assistant manager. I wouldn’t post anything though even if I wasn’t friends.

Under the current interpretation of the law from the ICO as we do not hold personally identifying data on forum users, nor do we build user profiles, the Data Protection Act does not apply to your use of these forums. Of course though anyone is entitled to go to the High Court and argue that the ICO interpretation is wrong, thats how laws are clarified in the UK. ( If you have a few bob of course

Not all of them Rob… theres a few small insignificant ones that are not signed up 
If I was the boss I would have waited to see if any of the other
drivers agreed with him and then given them the worst jobs I
could find , but if one of the drivers came to my rescue and
did not agree with them he would get the cream work and
possibly the next new truck that I bought .
I have never and will never say something about somebody
that I would not say to their face and would never ask
someone to do something that I cant or would not do .
Respect your drivers and they will respect you , treat them
like sh 1 te and expect the same back .
A letter about conduct would be issued to offending
driver / s .

Personally, if I had an axe to grind with my employer…I would either
a) keep to myself and look to move on ASAP.
or
b) go and see said employer to air my grievances… and try to find a solution.
