BuzzardBoy:
I never realised Rokold ran so far afield(Greece/Yugo)
Cracking Photo’s, i could sit and look at them instead of going to work!!!
Keep em coming!!
I think a lot of people thought the same. Admittedly, there was a lot of “channel hopping” which some guys liked and thats all they did but some of us did get about a bit but didn’t shout about it .
Still got a few more pics to come yet BB .
Dont like to think I’m boring people
That would explain it then, i always thought of Rokold in the same catergory as the Heritage’s/Ocean Trailers type work, out one day, back the next.(No offence to Heritage or Ocean)
Although i have just remembered, in the Davies Turner Documentary “Truckers”, when he comes back thru Yugo, you glimpse a Rokold F12 going the other way, so i did know they went further, i just forgot!! (thats my excuse and i’m sticking to it!! )
Keep posting the pictures please, being quite local, i love to see pictures of Beds/Bucks International Hauliers.

You are quite correct, that is actually me . However, that was NOT Yugo as portrayed in the documentary, it was coming down from The Blanc on the French side .
Just before that clip they show the big “Chamonix” sign on the 1st left hand bend but try to pass it off as Eastern Europe■■? and I remembered them both coming up at the time. The following trip to Greece I ran down most of the way and shipped over to Patras with ■■? off Prince International (cant think of his name now but he works with one of my mates on ECM) and he was telling me about the up and coming documentary. It was then we realised that I had seen em the trip before
