10 out of 10 to Nipper,Jerry & Nick for the Rokold reunion last night in Bicester left about 22.00 hrs(well oiled)just get the feeling it didnt end there i think you guys was just getting into gear about that time!

Evening Tony,glad you enjoyed the reunion mate, was great to see so many old friends n faces turn up, & i think the majority had a great time. i think the last of us rolled out of the bar around 3.30 sunday morning :smiley: , n i for one didnt make breakfast :confused: keep in touch mate… Jerry

Yep, was an excellent night mate :slight_smile:. Was good to see some of the originals there and I will post some pics up from the evening another time. To all those that said “seen the thread, its great”, say hello or comment next time :unamused:.

could either be F326JFC or F334JFC 334 later caught fire on way to Italy somewhere round Nantua

Cannot recall the exact registration number – but the ACH driver when it caught fire [could well have been same driver at ferry] was Stuart Oddy, and it was at Nantua !!

The driver was ( I think this was his name :blush: ), Jim. From Launton way. Used to see him nearly every trip :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks Nipper I drove the sister Globetrotter F913HWL Which we had second hand from ACH. Its original ACH driver was a chap i think they called Frankie the Pole

you ask about that White roadcommander it belonged to Tim bowers .(mark youngs office man very sadly passed away maybe five years ago)it was registered as Johnathan Dean haulage(his sons names).The pilot was Denver(cb handle)the truck fell over on a roundabout coming out of a dock (can,t remeber were) it
was loaded badley with a machine in a sealed container.It then lived in Headcorn with mr Lock but with the top of the cab removed

Hi to all and sundry, i write as a former Rokold man long since gone astray, i would love to know what became of some of my old mates, hardhat , Big Alan, Tim, Jeremy, and others too numerous to mention, i have worked in and out of Ireland for nearly 20 years now, but i remain a Brit at heart, i recall so many moments over the years that would make a great book, or a P.G movie, Nipper, i remember you well, good to see you are still interested in the old days…
