Sally traffic needs to be pensioned off.
How she keeps her job is totally astounding.
Wrong road numbers , wrong carriageways and shes thick as two short planks.

She also has to try and take over every show she’s on.
Read the traffic and get off I don’t need your opinion on anything else.
Mind if you lot stopped phoning her I wouldn’t get angry.
Had to turn Rice off this morning she comes across as thick as two short planks aswell.
robroy:
Kick out Vanessa Feltz, and get Sara Cox, replace Evans with Chris Moyles, keep Ken Bruce, replace Vine with Nicky Campbell on the discussion/music show (reckon he might be more trucker friendly) replace Steve Wright with Danny Baker, keep Simon Mayo…job sorted
If you think Feltz is bad listen to Anneka Rice Sat AM, eg, today “My favourite word is snowdrop, ring and tell me what yours is”…yeh right
I’d go with that. Feltz out and Cox in. Keep Evans though. Follow him with moyles. Richard allinson. Danny baker. Simon mayo. Sorted.
Why is there still an obsession with “Sounds of the '60s”? I’m 33 and as far as I can remember it’s always been “'60s, '60s, '60s”…
…Evolve for christ sake!

I find her stand in , Bobbie Pryor, much better to be honest.
At least shes doesnt bicker with Simon Mayo, that should be made a criminal offence.
If you dont get the joke and its nothing to do with traffic , SHUT UP!!
agree about Rececca what a ■■■■ voice and brainy too
The late great Ray Moore will never be bettered on the early mornin slot with his humour and bog eyed jogs
Anybody else get the feeling Ken Bruce is about to announce his retirement? There’s been a few bits which make me think this is imminent - hope I’m wrong though

Hope not, he seems to be at his very peak to me.

Probably because it was a pivotal decade in which the development of pop and rock music took hold both in the USA and Britain - particularly with vocal based groups. Rock and popular music from the 70’s to current owe much to the music of the 60’s…which itself was influenced by several styles from the 40s and 50s…
Just because time is passing doesn’t mean the 60’s becomes less influential!
(even though I’m not actually a big fan of 60s stuff myself)…
Gotta be 5 Live for me in the early hours, followed by Ken Bruce, I find I can relate well to his humour, maybe because losing my hair! Followed by vine, over to 5 live till 5pm then it’s mayo. Radio lancs I find is pretty good late night’s (think it is a syndicated thimg for Lancashire an Manchester - can’t remember the blokes name though)
I detest steve wright and his stupid impressions, chris evans is too far up his own arse and constantly milking one off over moria stewart who has far too much to say as well.
They need to replay all of Kenny Everett radio shows

Problem is, most of the people who were around in the 60’s to enjoy the music, are now so old, their probably listening to Radio 4.
Howabout we move forward and have Sounds Of The 80’s?
After all, most of Radio 2’s core audience now, would be around 40-55.
Ken.

I should think that will be happening eventually, they’ve had ‘Sounds of the 70’s’ for 10 years or more now.
I have been a die hard Radio one fan for years.
Except the mornings when Simon Mayo and Nicky Campbell were on.
For me, it was Mark and Lard and Chris Moyles in the afternoon.
Then they started getting rid of the good DJ’s.
I always said when Chris Moyles goes, I will stop listening to Radio 1 and Switch to Radio 2.
And I did.
Problem is, Radio 2 isn’t that good either.
I am surprised that in June 2012, they renew Chris Moyles’ contract for 2 years, then in July he announces the end of the breakfast show. He is still paid by the BBC until June 2014, yet hasn’t worked for them since September.

especially when he does his stupid rolling stones impression and moria makes some weird noises when talking to evens like she is trying to be cool
On subject of Evans, I remember when he was Gazza’s best mate when it was an advantage to his oversize ego to be seen with a, if not the, top England player, and the kudos that it brought. After reading the paper today about Gazza I reckon he could do with a good mate today, especially one experienced in overcoming alcoholism, but I reckon Evans wouldn’t get anything out of it for himself now, so he is giving him a wide berth, nothing to do with R2, just don’t like Evans and just my opinion.
Kerrang radio for loz and keith if i can
If not, Radio 1 (not with grimmy tho)
If oxford way Jack FM is pretty funny (we play what we want and we don’t care)
Lastly heart or capital.
jesus the very thought of ken leaving the station is too hideous to contemplate, this man is radio gold dust, impossible to fault, seriously witty, charismatic the whole caboodle. One niggle i have is the stations policy of ruthlessly despatching friendly newscasters like Fran godfrey for instance and replacing them with boring sterile types.A fella called Harvey cook is on rather too much and sounds like he loves himself pompous, oily, corporatey type of deal.Andrea simmons has the best all round appeal.
Its probably the new controller instigating the common purpose agenda that all big wigs have to attend and radio 2 with it’s unique across the board appeal would appear to be ripe for the plucking and consequently has to fall in line with the trend of homogenisation until every last vestige of individuality is firmly stamped out.Hughie Morgans show in the wee hours is a good move though, max music, minimum waffle.
