Chris Evans grates on me nowadays, defiantly no Terry Wogan thats for sure and don’t get me started on Vanessa Feltz or Jeremy Vine … Alex Lester and Richard Allinson should have better slots , and bring back Stuart Maconie and Mark Radcliffe… and another thing!!!
Radcliffe and Maconie are on 6 Music which is excellent, Shaun Keaveny at breakfast, Lauren Laverne, then Radcliffe or Maconie ( I say that because it’s very rare for them both to be on together nowadays) and the music played is very good. Shame we all haven’t got digital radios.
I’ve recently turned 2 evans in the mornings, after 15 years listening to radio 1 all day religiously…(Since I was at school) and evans is a lot better than that spoon they have put on there in the mornings… One direction this, teen awards that… Least when evans talks its a bit more human… Ish! Thanks 2 radio 1 4 deciding I’m now 2 old 2 listen @ 27!! Lol

Can’t stand Vanessa ■■■■■ first thing in the morning, Chris Evans is a bit up his own arse as well. Ken Bruce is always worth a listen and I don’t mind Jeremy Whine providing the topics up for discussion interest me. I quite enjoy Steve Wright in the afternoon, listening to him reminds me of when I left school in '87 and he was doing the same slot on Radio 1. Simon Mayo is no substitute for Johnny Walker and his All Request Friday grates like hell, in fact, if another middle class eight year old (inevitably named Harry or Oliver) rings up to request Don’t Stop Me Now by Queen on a Friday night on their way to their cottage in Newquay I’ll probably go on a kill crazy rampage.
Feltz,rubbish. Dev makes me laugh but the playlist is crap “GOOD GOOD SUPER GOOOOOD”. Ken Bruce and Lyn Bowles are quality,Jeremy Vine is a total fence sitting lefty liberal. Wrighty is just background noise. Anneka Rice 6-8 on a Saturday is my favourite show (such a ■■■■ voice

Gone right off Radio 2 since I got a DAB. Now my day consists of;
Chris Evans - Radio 2 (not that bad really)
Ken Bruce - Radio 2 (can’t miss popmaster!)
Classic comedy hour - Radio 4 Extra (Goon show, Steptoe & son, Hancock and other great shows)
Radcliffe & Maconie - Radio 6 (excellent music, knowledgeable and funny presenters)
Steve Lamaq - Radio 6 (tunage of the highest order!)
I rarely bother with R2 any more. Usually have R4 on these days till 10, then Ken Bruce till 12, then back to R4; if I’m Swansea/Cardiff way then it’s Nation Radio, not too bad for a commercial station.
Gave up on R2 after the first week of Evans. At that time of the morning I like to be talked to, not at, and the ginger one is just too noisy, silly and irritating. I really miss Wogan, though even he used to get canned around this time of year as I get sick of the permanent reminders about Children in Greed.
Ken Bruce is the most listenable of the lot; cannot stand Zoe Ball, seems to be forever blabbering about her kids, Vine talks a load of crap half the time which I find disappointing as he started so well, and Steve Wright is a tired shadow of the man who used to be so good in his Radio 1 days… anyone remember Mr. Angry from Purley? Agree with the comments about Alex Lester, unfortunately he’s on too early for me, did catch half an hour this morning as I had to be in Bristol for six.
The one radio presenter I miss most of all is Kenny Everett; the man was a true creative genius.
I like when Ryan Tubridy stands in for Evans but I do like Evans only start listening since moyles finished.
Can’t stand Vanessa feltz she’s too far up her own fat arse.
Like ken Bruce but find your woman lynn soooo crap and the banter between them sooo cheesey.
Steve wright take him or leave him and can’t stand all the stupid fake laughing he does.
Simon mayo is good and enjoy his confessions and stuff.
Now Jeremy vine is a complete plank I’ve never heard such a bad interviewer in my life. He says and does the most inappropriate things, tries to put words into people’s mouths and is rude to callers always cutting them off for no reason lost count of the times a caller would be talking about something intresting or is building up to make a point and that ■■■■ steams in and cuts them off so he can talk to someone as dull as him. I swear Alan partridge is based on that tool.

Terry Wogan, Deadly/John Boggy Marsh and Pauly R.I.P were the Masters of the Airways on the radio 2 breakfast show in their peak about 8 years ago setting listening records everywhere.
I used to love their invisible radio firework display on Nov 5th each year magically setting a imaginary rocket off and admiring it flying through the studio before they played each record. The listeners immediately played their part e-mailing them back issuing them ASBO’s etc. Good craic, now sorely missed.
Can’t stand the two fat s%&*s LiZZZa poncy name Tarbuck, and Vanessa v congrats feltz. They drive me insane second i hear there voice there gone.

Vine is ok can be very entertaining at times. Ken Bruce is bang on he craics me up very clever man. Evans is alright can take him or leave him.
Richard Allinson is pretty good. ■■■■ site better than that ■■■■ wright.
As for Simon Mayo now that is one funny bloke. He slays me very very quick witted and clever bloke. Always have him on.

Chris Evans best DJ on the air bar none, and a far superior replacement to TW, Ken Bruce worse DJ on the air, boring self-opinionated Scotsman, but they all are…Other than that, Simon Mayo is excellent. And get a digi radio, there is just miles more choice.
