Normally I think that your posts are as mad as setting your hair on fire or superglueing your face to a walrus just to prove a point, but I think that you have pretty much got it bang on correct here. Countries should play to their strengths, not bend to some globalist agenda.
Setting my hair on fire got boring and can only do that once anyway.Being stuck to a Walrus is a drowning risk but might extinguish the hair fire.Jumping out of a plane into the sea without a parachute with hair on fire covers it.At least that’s how it seems arguing with SDU.
But look on the bright side I could be young enough to be called up for Starmer’s march on Moscow via Ukraine.( He actually means internment in Siberia to clear the way for his imported red army ).
What am I misunderstanding here? I thought that @carryfast was in favour of tariffs and protecting the UK economy by raising barriers of all kinds? Do you @maoster agree with that?
If so, and maybe my understanding above is wrong, why support politicians who are free marketeers? Who were for Hard Brexit? Who wanted all trade barriers demolished so that far cheaper goods could be imported from all countries?
@franglais
Unconnected… but just wondered did you see my reply post from yesterday on ‘‘Xmas humbug’’ thread by any chance?..![]()
Yes I did.
![]()
I believe you.
But that is why digital/connected ID is needed.
Pieces of paper and cardboard and plastic can be forged. Try going through an integrated border and the image seen by border force cameras at the control will be checked against the records at a central database.
The fake docs your acquaintance provides would fool me, no doubt, but unless he can hack into the Home Office data base they will be no use at the frontier, etc.
That’s exactly the point Frangers, these documents would stand up to airport security. You may not believe it, but it’s the truth.
Surely you’ve seen the pictures from China of hundreds and thousands of disenfranchised citizens sleeping rough on benches in parks because they’ve somehow fallen foul of the newly introduced digital Id scheme?
Now that I do find very surprising.
Nope.
So now the latest move by this mad assed govt is to stop putting these illegal scum posing as refugees in 4 star hotels… and put them in military bases,.current ones not empty ones either !!
And after kicking out the likes of cadets…’ For their own safety’’ …
Jeez you could not make this stuff up it is wrong on so many many levels.
Let’s start with the motive for this latest bloody Labour stupid idea…
Are even Labour really that far out of touch with their own people to think the ONLY problem is the disaproval of them being catered for in 4 star hotels? …So now people are gonna say… ’
‘oh well that’s ok then, problem solved’'.
THE real problem is they are just not wanted here, They have not escaped plight and war, (but even if some have they have made themselves safe in previous countries they entered some stayed for years ffs)…
They have paid to get here from a 100% safe country…France,.
All this lefty dog sh about speaking English, and having relations over here as a reason to come, is irrelavant, it does NOT qualify them to break in, so they aint our responsibility…end of.
And I do not gaf if more of em are in mainland Europe than here, it’s the ones freeloading at MY expense and other tax payers I am only concerned about.
I dont care if it is attempted to be justified by saying ‘‘it is a comparatively small cost compared to other aspects’’…if it was ony 200 quid it is 200 quid too much !
In an ideal world if/when they do manage to break in ‘illegally’’ they should automatically be treated like what they are…criminals !
Or at the least illegal aliens, then detained, and locked up …(which would have prevented all the r4pe, sex crime and the increased crime wave in general, that has already occured, and that WILL continue for as long as they are allowed to wander around freely amongst decent people.)
Then when the lefty lawyers who use the ECHR to prevent them from being deported do their routine, just continue to keep them locked up and fed basic food with a choice to f.off as soon as they want to.
So now the latest
…
We have Army cadets being chucked out of their camp, the local people not being contacted or consulted for their concerns and fears, who will have them in their towns (after the specially laid on bus service and taxis drop them off at intervals…
)
They are un vetted, un checked, ok they aint all raving jihadis or r4pists but even one potential of each is one to many in a quiet British town.
As usual with Labour/socialism our own people are not being prioritized on,.and foreigners are…illegal ones to boot.
The mass protests there say it all..‘‘Not Wanted At Any Price’’ by normal everyday British people, not the ’ Far Right that Starmer and his lefty f.wits keep slavering on about .
Incidentally these scumbags are it seems now urgently short of accommodation…
So where are the ’ Refugees Welcome’’ brigade who stand on the beaches, while safe in the knowledge that they are on their way to their 4 star hotels, so no need to put their money where their big gobs are…where are the offers of accomadation in their spare rooms?
Ok, yeah I know…’ Heard it all before’’ …Rob on his favourite subject ![]()
But when people just sit back take it as normal and don t kick off about it …as these right thinking protestors, then the lefty delusionist clowns have got their smug way…in bliss living miles away from the problems in their middle class areas.
Don’t let all this latest muck raking scheme about Farage supercede the REAL problems in our country,.Farage and Reform are the only party who correlate with right thinking British patriotic people, leave the wet wipe parties to the left…and take no notice of the ridiculous racist/'far right b/s chucked your way, just because you put your own and your country first…it’s a feeble attempt to stop hearing the hard truth.
Jeez I’ve even impressed myself with that speech…I think I’llrun for office ‘The no b/s straight talking not bothered who I offend party’’ ![]()
It’s not rocket science.
If the choice is between a pro CCP, European Socialist franchise, dedicated to doing what’s good for China both politically and economically, as ordered by China, v a bunch of free marketeers hopefully maybe less inclined to do what’s good for global Communism via the WEF and people like Starmer and Macron.
Then the choice is a no brainer it ain’t going to be the former bunch of commie comedians.Yes agreed it’s relative I’d prefer to trust someone like Peter Shore in that regard than Farage.
Personally my gut feeling is it’s a fait accompli we’re done. It’s just a matter of time until we’re living in a 15 minute City built on what remains of the Green Belts eating bugs and cabbage and a bicycle or bus or rationed train journeys for transport.Life expectancy imposed by Socialist euthanasia policies instructed by Beijing. In order to sustain the global collective hive.
Living the Socialist dream.
What??
The people you mentioned were free marketeers.
They want no tariffs anywhere.
They want the UK competing tariff free with China and India. They want workers in Surrey on an equal footing with those in Singapore. What would happen to UK products and your wages then?
You think it too hard with free trade with Germany? How is it easier to compete with Brazil?
Crazy.
That clearly ain’t what I said.Theres a difference between the type of free market that built 1950’s and 60’s America v the type of foreign aid scam deliberately designed to rebuild post war Germany and later turn Communist China into a superpower.
Post war Germany, was part of the Common Market/EU. It was designed to help promote peace.
States with little foreign trade, either from choosing to have tariffs or being sanctioned against their will, are mostly economic failures.
The idea of the UK erecting barriers to trade, amongst comparable countries is an act of self harm.
Equally dropping barriers with countries that have very poor conditions and pay for workers and liberal legislation for finance, is also bad. At least, it is bad for workers, it is a plus for the richest fraction of a percent to get richer.
Nothing wrong with getting rich through ones own efforts. Making money through exploitative means is different.
Following on from my soliloquy like speech on my ‘favourite subject’ yesterday
, it looks like some patriotic Brits are taking things in to their own hands. (seeing as the well paid French authorities continue to take the pi55.)
It started off with 2 guys from Birmingham rocking up at …Dunkerque was it? and sabotaging dinghy engines and slashing dinghies that had been planted for use…
A tad iffy given the dubious ‘‘quality’’ of the types of organised ruthless criminal gangs involved, some would say brave, some foolish…make up yer own minds depending on which side of the fence you sit.
Either way it could be defined or interpreted as ‘‘vigilantism’’…which aint always a great idea, ..
But sometimes it comes to a ‘‘F. this enough is enough’’ situation, been there myself in fact in complete frustration in other cases,.so I for one can both empathise and sympathise, because from theirs and everyonelse’s pov,. ‘Wet wipe all talk Starmer’’ sure as hell aint gonna ‘‘SMASH’’ a god dam thing !..for reasons we all know.
So now aparentlly people have joined these guys to sabotage the constant flow of young men invading our shores.
Mixed feelings,on one hand…‘‘Give em a knighthood’’…on other hand I just hope nobody goes in a bit carried away and heavy handed.
I don’t gaf about the welfare of these illegal guys, it’ just that the first act of violence (whether it be media exaggerated or not, ) it will sure as hell give Starmer a chance to go off on one of his ''Far Right ’ speeches, which will do these peope no favours, and play right in to the lefty’s hands.
Interesting screen -shot: An image from The Daily Fail in April 2024.
The article explains that migrants in France are not deterred by Sunak’s plan to send them to Rwanda.
![]()
Nothing dodgy nor an attemp to mislead mate, it was just sent to me after a conversation about it with a mate last night.
As for the Rwanda thing (complete with lol emoji,) that opinion depends on the source… and what you choose to believe.
The fact that at the time there was a sudden virtual innundation of freeloaders diverting to Ireland, followed by the increase in crime there, tells me different…
I think we all know even Starmer secretly thought it was an effective idea, albeit to him a one he would not agree with due to his dubious lefty misguided principles, because did I hear somehere that even he has to re.act to public opinion sometimes…aint he currentlly looing at palming them off to some other country?
Ah well…
So what sources do you have for the increase in migration and crime in Eire?
Really? And who has the access to Starmers’s secret thoughts?
What is the source for that?
Look mate, …if you want to maintain our present (and delicate ) TN ‘‘ceasefire’’ , all this ‘‘obtuseness for effect only’’ type crap is just going to wind me right up man…just saying.
My answer to your somewhat (and needless) sarcastic retorts , disguised as genuine questions is this…
It is all of my own opinions and onservations based on past news reports etc…unfortunately at the time I did not write down nor record in the back of my mind for future reference the sources dates times name of reporter. etc.![]()
As for the Starmer one…it was the first thing he knocked on the head to make a name for himself (of which he achieved, but maybe not the same name he wanted.
) and he could do nothing else in order to save face after regularly slagging it off…
Again MY opinion, a one formed on the basis of ‘‘I would not trust him if he told me what day it was’’
So if you feel the need to disprove and/or refute MY own OPINIONS by digging for some official source/line or another…fill yer Doc Martens. ![]()
Cheers.
Not at all. You are making statements about things.
If you have sources to base those statements on then please share them.
If not then we can treat them as opinions based on what your mate on Facebook etc told you. Backed up by photos years old etc.
Starmer did indeed knock the Rwanda scheme on the head pretty quickly.
What relevance is that to him having “secret thoughts” about it being effective really? I’ve never heard that one before.
