Farage (who thought the Truss/Kwarteng budget was great!) has said that he supports doing . away with the two child cap. But, he has said only for working families.
So if a family wanted more kids, but were on crap money, they might be able to have another one or two. So, he isn’t talking about better wages, g]he is about tax payers subsidising companies with poor pay for workers.
And if a bread winner falls ill, or is made redundant? They lose the pay, and lose the child allowance at the same time.

^^^^ sounds great in theory smuggling people out of Britain. The reality is a tad different though unfortunately; those smuggled out then jump back in an inflatable and wash up on our shores as “fresh” refugees with no documentation, they then are processed under a false name and proceed to claim benefits under the new assumed name in conjunction with the benefits they claim under their other various aliases. Nice work if you can get it.

So if a worker with kids is made unemployed through serious illness, or through redundancy they would lose both their wage and lose the child allowance.

No not true.
Investors will choose to invest anywhere they can turn a profit. So long as the UK makes money for them they will invest here. They do not only invest in the country they live in.
Many choose to pay as little tax as possible. They want to live in the UK because they like the UK, it’s cultures and it’s facilities.
They want to be members of “club UK” but do not want to pay the fees. They want to take the benefits but not to be paying, contributing, citizens of it.
