@Andy
It’s like this with me mate.
Firstly when it comes to choosing and voting, I aint naive enough not to know all politicians are liars and that at pre election they will say what they think you want to hear.
Saying that you can only play with the hand of cards you are dealt, so I listen to all sides, try and cut through the b/s, then I decide which party is going to be the best, for first me and my family, then my country.
I could not give a flying f*** if the guy eho is candidste or leader has a dubious history, whether he did not pay a parking fine in 1988, or if he once kicked a cat when he was a kid.
It is what I think he can do now to improve my and mine’s lives and improve on what goes on in my country.
At present neither of the 2 main parties fit that remit, so you pay yer money and take yer chance.
The 2 prominent people in political circles who correlate with how and what I think at the moment, are Farage,.and to a lesser extent Tommy Robinson.
The reason I have NO shame in saying that, is that I do not succumb to the Lefty bo110cks put about that either or are racist, and that anybody who knows me personally, and/or anybody who matters to me know that neither am I.
Anybody who chucks out those accusations are usually party prominents, and lefty timid 'useful idiots (timid to the fact that these political views are a threat to their own) neither have no creedence or relavance to me.
And the labels and insults they bandy about (at the drop of a hat when you do not agree with their limp wristed ideas) come under my ‘‘litmus test’’ heading to the point where their racist and far right labels paradoxically have became to me anything from a vindication to a compliment .
Jeez I need a drink I got a bit carried away there…I could hear ‘‘Land of Hope and Glory’’ playing in the background when I typed that out.
I need to cocentrate on tomorrow’s England game to clear my swede of all this politics crap.
