Ya know tbh pre election, I always thought Rayner because of her profile, background and upbringing, she was just what Labour needed to put them back on track. to how they should be, after losing their way and their roots.
Working class gobby Northern lass, took no sh off anybody, council estate lass, single Mam, factory worker and Union rep, she had been around the block and was a bit ‘streetwise’…I quite admired her tbh. thought she would have empathy,m sympathy and support for us working class.
She had ‘traditional Labour’ written all over her.
I suppose the lifestyle and the money went to her head, and as a lot of ‘nouveau riche’ types do,.she kinda ‘sold out’ to it all.
(A bit like that day when I saw Ant & Dec rocking up to St James’s in Hugo Boss suits.

Tbf mate I am everything a Labour voter should be.
White ('pleeease don’t anybody make anything of that ) working class male, council estate boy, Comprehensive school, from a working Labour voting family, always worked myself since (and before) I left school.
But nowadays Labour are not for the traditional working class anymore…in fact we have been dumped and alienated by them.
The elder members of my family, lifelong Labour voters are also disillusioned by them.
I saw the light after I voted for Blair in 96, because I have always had an open mind, and not the sort of bloke who would vote for an ape if he wore a certain colour rosette.
Like me, keep an open mind , and look at other news reports. I Google the source to see wether they are left or right. Or centralists. One I found is the news agents on YouTube. But many reporters will be focusing on what in the headlines at the present moment in time. Reform, Rayner, Labour. Either good or bad.
I watch others such as led by donkeys and Jonathan Pie , but I see them as satire and comedy. And an American show with a British host. John Oliver. But I don’t get drawn into it shouting yes or no. Wrong or right. And I don’t attack a person because they want to vote a different party or candidate than me. We are free to make our own minds up.
