Look, he is pointing out that surprise! the usual rags are spinning lies about immigration, asylum seekers and expensive gov contracts…again. Again stories in the media with no basis in fact.
My references were to Monty Python and that Juice are Aussies…. Yes, guilty,…a bit (very) weak humour from me.
But the video does make some very good points about the hypocrisy of lots of people. I found it both amusing and thought provoking. I daresay not everyone does.
watched about 2 seconds of the video and could see its just another blithering lefty that hasnt the brain cell of a dead gnat.
heres the rub… contracts go out to tender… people bid… contract goes to the lowest bid. however only people that are interested in the contract bid. when you have the situation you do have with the illegals and stuffing them into certain areas their are a finite group that fall for it. You then have the situation where people are directly offered the contract you might get a few takers but less than before. then you have to either move onto a different area or force people to take them.
same happened when we had the kosovans in the 90’s in portsmouth a few jumped on the band wagon to begin with… then people were offered contracts direct and when they refused inspectors turned up with the kinda of attitude of nice place same if something happened to it citing various code violations that would normaly not get mentioned. for example… that fire door is 2mm to near the bottom of the stairs you will have to close and completely move the wall or have a different set of custom stairs made. oh btw the way if you sign this contract to take the illegals we will give you 10 years to do it.
I can easily see that this hotel owner said no and got the same treatment and was faced with either loosing his hotel and livelihood or kowtowing and taking the illegals

But if the govt is mad enough to hire them out and hand them guaranteed buisness…who can blame them for expoliting it.
Feeding your family and staying financially afloat will always supercede principle if those are the only 2 choices.

the issue in portsmouth was all the b&b’s and hotels were full of kosovans so no tourists could come. that killed off all the businesses that relied on the tourist trade. so when the kosovans moved on the tourists didnt come back because there was nothing there to visit. so all the hotels etc went bust anyway
