There was a Police incident in my own city yesterday, a Police car and a cherry picker on back of a truck rocked up to a lampost where there was a flag flying.
Apparentlly everybody thought it was to remove the flag to a few boos…turns out it was to repair or reset a strategic traffic surveillance camera, they left the flag flying to a big cheer from passing people…and good on them.

there were 36 job types on the osl and were 23 on the isl however starmer and co have added more than another 60. things like librarian or cinema worker etc.

Those who have applied for asylum will not be taking money from the UK tax payer. The jobs they will eligible for are those which have a shortage, and will be filled by other immigrants anyway. Looks like a way to reduce overall migration to me.
Where does that come from? If anyone gets the going rate for a job, why would they not be subject to tax/NI etc ?
