as i have said many times i know nothing about football. However in my opinion if you want to play for a team you should be from that area/country. if you want to play for newcastle be from newcastle or at least the north east. if you want to play for england be from england. i dont care if your white or green with pink polka dots just live in england. Otherwise its not about the sport its about who has the most money to spend.

After reading that, I take your point mate.:joy:

Yep that bit you got right…even if some national teams have tenuous links to their chosen players.

When Jack Charllton managed Ireland he approached Gazza to play for him asking him if his dog was an Irish Wolfhound. :joy::joy:

i just remember as a child a big thing about pele??? how he was signed for a record amount at the time but didnt even live in the country.

it just doesnt seem fair to me that a club or country with bigger purse strings can go round the world getting the best players then claim that they are the best. nope you just had the biggest purse strings

Lawless Britain…,.a free for all for any scumbag or low life to take advantage of.

By coincidence Nigel (my hero ) Farage announces his prospective policies on law and order later…rumour has it that Sadiq Khan is poised to listen (and then just ignore it and carry on as normal breaking ball crime records…and calling Farage a racist for good measure..:joy:)

One is to propose to send dangerous criminals to prisons abroad… preferably sh holes, so let’s hope the ECHR is finally kicked into touch by then.

Btw I think that ‘‘security’’ guy needs a career change.. waste of skin.

here is is…

he talks a lot of sense. stop all the woke bs in the police force. make them police properly. repeat offenders get 2 chances then life like it is in america. stop all this cobblers if you only steal x amount we wont prosecute you

all this crap was brought in by labour or the libdems.

The way of prosecuting offences involving less than £200 was changed in 2017.
It does not mean that no prosecutions are made.
And who was in power in 2017? I will give you a clue: not Labour not Libdems.

Farage’s video:
It starts off with him saying he does not accept the official figures. I wonder why? Because the true figures do not suit his agenda?

He then mentions that about one third of Londoners have had mobile phones stolen. That must be about 3million mobile phone thefts.
There is an issue with such thefts. The Met Police say about 80,000 last year.
That is a lot, but it is a fraction of Farage’s claim. Maybe of course he is talking of the total, not the annual number of phones?
So if it was always the same number per annum, it must be over the past 37 years…
Farage says the number is “almost unbelievable”. I would say leave out the “almost”.

wow well thats me told… oh wait
https://www.london.gov.uk/who-we-are/what-london-assembly-does/questions-mayor/find-an-answer/ps200-shoplifting-rule whats that say…labour

or maybe it was labour that brought the asbo’s in in 1998. the preferred sentence of petty theft. Of course the tories could of brought in proper sentencing for theft but then the leftie wingers would of bitched and cried about racism and it would never of got through govenment.

he tells you why. He specifically states because they dont match the police crime stats. Maybe cause the government only use the stats of those convicted rather than charged. The cps (starmers leftie brigade) only prosecute a small percentage because like anyone with a brain cell knows its the blacks that carry knifes and all the cry babies shout racism.

that were reported and prosecuted? that were reported and followed up on? Again if you unglued ya ears you would of heard why the discrepancy

1/10…
your going to have to face it… the govenment is on the way out and farage or someone like him will get in. You better hope it happens soon as well before people really show you what far right is.

Did you read all of the link you posted?
It is a question which asks the current (Labour) Mayor of London whether he supports the repeal of the 2014 Act of Parliament which gave us the current state of affairs. The question was asked because the current Gov are considering repealing the law, brought in by Cameron, that Farage and you seem to be so against.

So there are differing tables of data? OK. He does not say why he chooses the Police crime stats. He gives no reason.
The ONS do give reasons for their stats. Crime trends in England and Wales and how we measure them - Office for National Statistics

Now remembering Farage and you preferring the Police stats, you say

Hey the Police stats have got it all wrong!

You really do want it both ways don’t you? Just swop between different data sets to suit your own agenda.

I did find one “source of data” that said with no context, no explanation, that in the UK 29% had their phones stolen last year.
The source was a private company selling anti-theft software…Nuke From Orbit …Yeah…right…

hang on let me go get my crayons maybe you will get it if i draw you a picture

I want to know how many t-bags pg tips make… do i go round all the supermarkets and ask how many they have sold? or do i go to pg tips and ask them.

i never said i was for or against the police data i just said it was more reliable than the cooked figures by government. It is a known fact that a lot of crime goes unreported for what ever reason. maybe farage got the details from insurance companies again from an unbiased source relevant source.

who cares the point is that we need a tougher more robust police force that gets off their arse and deals with crime in a robust way and sod the crying lefties. if they dont like it they can do one.

Yes.
Unreliable…what Farage and you prefer is unreliable.
So you are telling us he deliberately chose unreliable figures. OK. You are probably correct.

Re the stolen phones?

Insurance companies are unbiased? The people who sell us protection from the effects of theft? Unbiased?
Ignoring that…
You are attempting to sane-wash an unqualified statement from Farage. He did not say where his “one third of Londoners had a phone stolen” came from. You are guessing.
That sounds like a lot to me. Over 30 times more than the Met’s figure?

■■■■ sake… if there are three million insurance claims for stolen phones… but the police that are towing the leftie line that its not immigrants on ebikes or immigrants mugging people…so they dont act on the complaints what data are you going to belive?

because you have no answer to logic

no you are trying to toe that party line and anything that proves it false must be ridiculed in the silliest way

do you think that thefts under 200 pounds are recorded in the list of prosecutions?

more evidence that the illegals are put up in hostels…

hang on didnt starmer say he wasnt going to open any more hotels and there was plenty of houses for everyone?

Does a very inventive advert from someone trying to flog off old static caravans, really equate to a government plan?

Just let the government appointed Serco allow landlords of HMO’s to use section 21 non fault evictions to clear properties of decent rent paying tenants in order to fill with illegal scum floaters all paid for by us. Handing inflated rents to landlords, handing all repair costs for landlords paid for by us, handing years of guaranteed rental for the landlord & handing out free property management for the landlord all paid for by us.

The Liebour government have been instrumental in the Renter’s Reform legislation especially in bringing about banning non fault evictions due to the unfairness this has on decent law abiding tenants. In a matter of a few months this will become law. Funny how Labour don’t now seem to have a problem with non fault evictions when it comes to housing floaters.

It seem that some politicians do need help to make plans though. Reform slammed for £150k spend on political aides

The Refukers are spending £150,000 for someone to tell them how to do their job.

better than 1.29 billion on management consultants a 5% increase on the tories.

Sir Keir Starmer has been accused of U-turning on a pledge to cut the Government’s reliance on consultants after figures showed spending rose during Labour’s first year in power.

The public sector has awarded 580 contracts worth £1.29bn to consultancies including Deloitte, McKinsey and PwC since Labour entered office on July 5 last year.

more cobblers from labour. Starmer said in the run up to the election that he was going to grow the railways…

what is the first thing they do… scrap boris’s plan for restoring travel by train.

ignoring their usual style for a minuet how many of the 2,500 stations and 5,000 miles of track that were closed in the 60s have they reopened.1 station. a cinic might think thats because its in a labour cabinet members area.

one of the ones out of the hundreds of applications that have been turned down was a bit of line between plymouth and tavistock despite the current traffic issues and the fact that the government have awarded a 4.4 billion investment in defense to the area that they say would create 25,000 jobs.
