Ok if we are playing your favourite game of fantasising on pretend politicians…
‘‘I refer to the answer I gave previously to the right honourable gentleman some moments ago’’
You should re.kindle your Brexit thread now you are on a roll.
In the same way I can’t say it would have been a success, you can’t prove it wouldn’t have been as its all hypothetical. As I say it was an opportunity that wasn’t taken.
You are wasting your time mate…this stuff has been done to death ad infinitum on the Brexit thread…he has his blinkers on and his fingers in his ears shouting ‘’‘yaaaa’ …dont indulge him ffs.
He is in his element now in full Franglais flow… he’s already on his 3rd 0rgasm.
WE all know what you mean so why bother.
350 million a week to the nhs… tick
Buy our own food grown by our own farmers… tick
End mass migration from the eu… tick
Make our own laws… tick
Exports up … tick
Wages up… tick
Need i go on?
It is not the fault of people that had common sense and could see the damage the eu was doing that your lord and master has done his damdest to distroy it because it didnt go his way like a petulant child an attitude you seem to love and admire.
I don’t know why he’s still bleatin like Billy the goat tbh…(any more of it btw and young Bill will be making another appearance. )
Starmer is doing his utmost to suck up to the EU members to the point of demraning and embarrasing himself…and our country, with his tongue up respective EU orifices.
We’ll be back in there in some shape or form before you can say .‘Ignore the will of the people’'.
You must know by now these lefty morons patronosingly understand all this kind of stuff soooo much better than we do.
We did not understand what we were voting for apparentlly.
Oh sh I’ve actually fell into his trap of discussing it now…So that’s my final answer Jeremy.
Has spending on the NHS increased?
Yes. It has increased in line with what was happening before we left the EU.
But that was not the promise was it? What was written on the bus was that we would be £350m a week better off because of Brexit. We are not.
Has migration changed?
The EU right of movement has ended. Migration from other counteries has increased.
Is that a beneift? It is a change but is it a benefit?
How has law making changed?
What laws were we prevented from making or did we have imposed on us by the EU?
Could you give a couple of examples?
Exports up?
Yes. But that is expected. No one credible said that the UK would shrivel up and die. (Well apart from Drama Queens)
What was said is that the UK would not do as well outside the EU as inside the EU.
All the figures I have seen suggest that is so.
As a bit of an aside:
On some You Tubes etc the title gives a hint as to the content, but it not always accurate. Exactly the same thing happens with some news headlines.
On the written sites it might be “Many Angry Because of X” but the article shows no one in partucular angry at anything.
On YT it might be even more twisted I seem to remember one where the headline was “Jacob Rees-Mogg Destroys Protester” The video showed someone asking a question and JRM avoiding any answer but trying to sound knowledgeable.
My point is that if those titles were not balring out a message, we could all make our own minds up about what any set of facts meant.
Why here and now?
Scroll up to see how two other posters have been keen to declare how they are correct and winners etc. I thank them.
If they hadn’t pointed it out, I might well have not realised exactly how clever they really are.
Eh?..
There is only YOU on here who sees it as a ‘‘winning’’ situation mate, or who will never admit to being wrong, …nobody else as far as I can see.
The rest of us just contribute to discussions with our own pov.s, if we are wrong we readily admit it, as I have on quite a few occasions.
Dont judge others by your own actions and motives
(Cue Franglais trawling through the last 15 yrars of my posts to catch me out…to appear to ‘‘win’’
We didn’t ‘leave’ the EU what we actually got was Cameron’s BRINO deal.
That was always his plan B if his rigged referendum vote went wrong which unbelievably for him it did.
So here we are still subject to EU rules and still giving it our cash and fish and oil and gas and still importing stuff that we don’t need, which we can make for ourselves, as payment.
All under a deal which left the door open to Communists like Starmer to rejoin at any time.
How so when we were clearly voting for a no deal, turn the clock back to 1972, Brexit.
Not the BRINO deal predictably stitched up by the same Tory party that took us in.
See my original response … “all hypothetical” . If better deals had been negotiated, if those in power wanted it or cared a bit more would we have so much paperwork and bureaucracy? The opportunity was there, it was not taken and we have what we have.
