For the Portland barge cost tax payers 33 million, it has been towed away, the cabins were designed for single occupancy for the 500 crew when offshore on contracts, when it became a migrant ship the cabins became double occupancy and they complained about that.
They did have access to a free regular bus service from the port to Weymouth as due to health and safety reasons they couldn’t wonder around a busy commercial port what with lorries loading and unloading freight for the ships and it’s also a military base so security has to be considered.

the Sheraton Grand is a five star hotel on park lane. a standerd room with a queen sized bed is 315 for thursday night next week. food finishes in the resteraunts and bars at 11:30 pm.
the room service finishes at 11:30 mon to thurs and 0030 fri to sun. and breakfast doesnt start till 7am

Your so desperate to defend all this stuff its laughable. In fact please don’t stop, it’s pure comedy gold.
You can remove the feather lined duvet and queen size bed and replace it with a bunk bed but that still doesn’t change the aesthics inside and out, the decor, design, location or catering facilities and standards. Plus pretty sure the last time I stayed in a hotel there wasn’t a doctor on hand for whatever I wanted, nor was I given free cash, a mobile phone and other freebies - so let’s call that evened up with having the queen size bed exchanged for a bunk bed shall we.

acctualy when i stayed at lainston house i was rooming with my sister and booked a twin room the room they gave us the shower was visable from the bedroom obviously not ideal as im sure my sister doesnt want to see my fat backside and i certainly dont wish to see any of her features.
