im not sure if that was aimed at me or franglais but in my case yes. You wouldnt belive that amount of stuff that comes up on my news feed on my phone that when i look it up on the internet its behind a pay wall so i cant post it.
I’m more alarmed that there are idiots trying to defend not having an independent enquiry where anyone called ‘must’ give evidence rather than the flimsy ones we’ve had where people can “opt” out legally of having to give a statement or evidence.

Yes, provided by the UK Gov. Just as itis provided by French and German Govs in their countries.
So the UK is not as you previously, and repeatedly, and wrongly, said providing anything extra above what other countries provide.

Is that a fact? Or a report on what a politician once said somewhere? Or what a group of blokes all assume to be so or whatever?
The NHS is in a bad state.
The millions on the waiting lists are not explained by thousands of “fit young men” all awaiting knee and hip operations.
no it isnt given in france for free you have to have medical insurance… remember the e111. the french dont pay because they have free insurance. to get that you have to have a fixed address. not a tempoary one. as per my link the other day only about 39% of the illegals get any help at all. However, you keep ignoring that fact.

no the waiting lists are explained by the ineptitude of the doctors and nurses. oh wait we need more apparently. something else you failed to comment on is that the tories reduced the waiting list by more than labour.
However even starmer says the issue is that the same doctors that perform these life saving operations are hindered by either wasting their time dealing with minor things (he used the example of 6-10 yr olds with rotten teeth) or the whole lot is grid locked by minor cases and the consultants cant get the time in the or’s or get the scans needed to do the hip op or whatever. who is it blocking up the stuff with minor complaints yep the illegals and other time wasters that go to the gp because they have a headache or a split fingernail. (specific examples that i have had said to me over the last 2 weeks)

But I am not about to help fund those sites I find to be unsound.
Whether free or expensive I try to give sources for checking by others.
Mostly I try to put in links to my sources so that everyone can check them out themselves and have the chance to argue if they think those sources are unsound.
I try not to assume things, or take them for granted, or rely on My Mate Told Me.

The French do not free insurance for all medical costs.
Asylum seeker children get free medical acre from day one.
Asylum seeker adults get free emergency care from day one, but wait 3 months before being eligible for non urgent care.

The waiting lists have fallen for 4 months up to Feb 2025…fallen… in the winter…
I suspect that is not due to “ineptitude of staff.”

Tory from then until 2024.
The graph shows drops in wait times under Lab and increases under Tory Govs.
A few wobbles etc but pretty convincing stuff.
The recent excuses of the Tories “it is all due to Covid” are disproved by the steady rise in figures before 2020.

I do not think that anyone or any organisation can be totally, 100%, unbiased.
I think the BBC does try to be unbiased, and does try to be balanced.
It seems to me, overall, to get as near that goal as most organisations.
I remember the false logic the BBC used during the no-longer-a-Dr Wakefield MMR stuff. They balanced the views of one person against the views of the rest of the medical establishment.
They failed to make a valid editorial judgment in that case.
I do not need to have half an hour of Prof Brian Cox talking about the physics of the Universe balanced by half an hour of the Flat Earth Soc president telling me Cox is wrong.
Some media do not even try to be balanced nor accurate of course!
They are there, sometimes even as money losing enterprises to push the owners point of view.
