As there are a few Potteries lad’s on this forum could anyone please tell me if Paul Owen, the ■■■■■■■ engine specialist is still in business? I think that he was on Hot Lane in the Sneyd Hill area, I could do with a contact number but only if he is still trading.

Remember there being a diesel specialist up there at onr time,don’t recall seeing it of late,but I do’t get up there too often.
I’ll make a point of checking next time I’m up that way.
Hiya …lads. How’s things windrush??..Paul and the other chap ■■?Holland had a place in Hot lane Burslem but i think they went seperate
ways a few years back…When a was at Glutton Bridge TSP (1980ish) they did a 290 big cam ■■■■■■■ up for us and it was a
good rebuild…But i did hear they made a mistake on a Ford Transcon engine, IICR after the rebuild it broke down on its first trip
and this caursed a rift…If this is true or not i don’t know but i got on well with both of them… At one time they was building a Foden
wrecker from a ex pickfords heavy tractor i think it had a 350 ■■■■■■■ engine and a S41 cab and was double drive with manual
reducing hubs…It was not finished the last time i saw it but it looked awersome. …Mind you that was light years ago.

Thank’s for the replies, I will try to find his phone number. We last used him around 1998 but are now after a decent s/hand sump for a ■■■■■■■ 325 L10 asthe one we have has rotted away and has more oil outside than in! He may just have one laying around, fingers crossed!
