So, Radar is confused, Burnley Si now markets T shirts, Ray White does repairs. Do I have this correct?
Not looked at this thread before nor have I looked through all 31 pages but Toy and Truck do not go together in my world!!

I think I’ve got it sussed now. Burnley-si has a red Scannia much like the one in that photo but its not his, the name plate is different as well as the light racks. I had a look at his website.

You’d have been lucky to get 6 mpg with a 180 hp ■■■■■■■ in the '70’s…40 years on
and 750 hp on heavy haulage pulling ( 50 / 60 / 70 ? tons) and still doing 6 mpg seems pretty good…

Why is it, that when a Scania has a V8 engine, it has signs all over it saying V8.I have even seen them on the back of the trailers, I know fridge trailers have some sort of engine to keep them going, but is a V8 not overkill for that
If you look at the tacky badge nailed to the drivers side door pillar on the sunvisor, i think you will find it is a Y8!

Be back on the road 1st week in new year… R730 V’s Golf GTI. Will only be one winner. Old lady driving the Golf lost control and hit the truck. Driver tried to avoid the car and the truck went off the road… Cosmetic damage but still a hefty bill for her insurance !!
To the silly people that say the driver fell asleep… Are you for real ? I watch for 90minutes while the fire brigade tried to cut the trapped elderly woman from the car… Both drivers were taken to hospital. This happened 3 km from my yard. The driver had just run a trailer to another driver in Cirencester and was Bob tailing back… This site is so full of know it all’s who know jack.

Do these things really get no more than 6mpg? Is it the same for Volvo 610’s, 750’s?
Is it the same for every thing over 500 bhp? Iv never driven owt above a basic standard white basic hire model? What’s the difference in drive? What’s yours bhp burnley Si?
My 730’s are all on 8+ Mpg. My 620’s are all in 9+mpg. My 500 Volvo’s Are almost 10mpg and they are not even run in. My 750 Volvo is 9+mpg.
But it mostly depends on the driver !!!
