The Actros Demo was in a accident a few weeks ago, Was meant to have it delivered today !!!

The motorhome has 3 TV’s, 3 Double Beds, Full Size Fridge, Freezer, Kitchen, Oven, Shower, Toilet, Play Station, Satelite System, Workshop, Air Compressor, Steam Cleaner, Cost more than a 2 bed house… He spends more time in this than he does in his own bed at home. He is away every weekend in it.

Fair play to the family, done well, but I’m not entirely sure everyone is interested into how many tv’s, beds and all that is contained in a motor home, and then to say it costs more than a 2 bed house, when some lads on here are doing all the hours possible to earn enough just to pay the rent etc on a 2 bed house, or those that have lost their dwelling through redundancy is in my mind, not very clever. But reading through the posts, it’s been coming for a while.

What’s the point of the twin wheeled tag though or is it double drive that you can lift the rear axle? I don’t get it, is it just for axle load weights then? Didn’t know you could spec that.Twin wheeled tag helped to spread the weight a little better especially when on loose or tricky ground, as your giving a wider footprint.
Other than that I just think they look great, like a double drive when the axles down. To me single wheel tags look a bit out of proportion, unless a super single is used on the steer and tag axle.
Have to ad. The stability in winter conditions. It’s like night and day. Single vs Twin. As the twins follow the exactly same track as the drive wheels.
Once you driven with twin wheels you don’t want single back, there’s are reason it’s named poor mans tag.
